#21 - Alusdar "Al" Walsh, The fighting pits fighter (Character played by J. L.)
Motto: You can't always punch your way out of troubles, or at least you shouldn't, though it typically works. The Crew - The Crew - Nationality: Irish - Gender: unisex
Teaser: THEMES: family - desire to change oneself and things around - adventure
There's only one thing that Walsh knows well, and that's fighting. That's what life has always been: as a children with the siblings, around town where the Irish always seeemed to be in the middle of every fistfight, with the father, deraved and easy with the hands. So it wasn't that strange ending up in the fighting pits for debts and being able to fight the way through. But there was always honour, and a motivation behind the fights. Welsh always has one, and of course there is one for ending up on ''La Grace''. Walsh's little brother is still a fighter in the pits, until A. finds a way to pay his ludicrous debts.
Relations: Domingos helped A. in a moment of need, so it's A.'s turn to help the accountant back by helping P. find the inner beast and impress Dion.
R. Farìa is A.'s ''employer''.
In the past Tamirez and Walsh tried to join M. Karks's fight but felt like loosing time (Karks is not suited to be a leader). Recent rumors say that something weird has happened to M.
#17 - Avery Blackguard, The petty thief in trouble (Character played by M. L.)
Motto: When ill luck begins, it does not come in sprinkles, but in showers. The Crew - The Crew - Nationality: English - Gender: unisex - Advices: This character has a scar on the face.
Teaser: THEMES: deceit - freedom - trust - courage
Blackguard always had a talent to make an impression on people: ''liar'', ''thief'', ''dishonest'', ''bilge rat'', ''smartass'', ''disgrace''...the fact that rarely it was a good impression, well, it's just a detail. Actually, since Blackguard came into this world alone, and alone learned how to survive, all of those gentle names might be considered quite the achievement. Being a criminal was not a choice, more like a necessity, and possibly becoming a pirate was more or less the same. Some say that Blackguard, after a life of stealing under the protection of ruthless gangsters, needed a fresh new start. While others, possibly better informed, told the story of a petty thief who screwed up a very important theft and therefore was forced to leave Melee Island or face the consequences of having displeased those very same ruthless gangsters. One thing is for sure, once again Blackguard is working with disputable people, and this time their lack of ruthlessness might not be a good thing.
Relations: Cobb is a real friend, possibly the only one. Y. Mc Dougall beat the shit out of Blackguard more than once.
Blackguard confessed to V. Portero to love them, but it's not the entire truth. Admires El Perro Loco and desperately wants to convince the killer to be a mentor, but unfortunately the petty thief is also totally scared of the cutthroat.
#29 - C. Sandor, The bedazzled trawler (Character played by F. F.)
Motto: What is happening? What am I doing? Who am I? The Crew - The Crew - Nationality: Caribbean - Gender: unisex
Teaser: THEMES: mysterious past - misplacement - benevolence
C. Sandor, the mute fisherman, got to Melee Island after a shipwreck, and it is all that they can remember about their past. Everybody felt very comfortable with them, even if Sandor came out of nowhere, and never ever spoke a word. Each day they woke up at dawn, collected the boat, oars, and fishnets. Every day, they sailed the boat, caught fish. Sold fish, went home. Slept on a wooden plank of a bed and woke up to start again. Sunrise, fish. Sunrise, fish breakfast. Sunset, fish dinner. Then, one magical day, a lavish looking Portuguese vessel arrived at the docks. The most pompous and baroque looking figure came down smelling like lavender, instantly charming the good-natured trawler, and turning them into the perfect valet. From that day on, C.'s life has never been the same, and neither their clothes!
Relations: T. Langer sometimes goes talking to Sandor on the beach.
Cowman has a familiar face
R. Farìa one day just started calling C. his personal vallet, and C. just played it on with it ever since. Life with R. is definitely exciting and it seems to have triggered some memories about C.'s forgotten past
#8 - Cassio Manuel Colon De Portugal Y Ayala, heir to the Duchy of Veragua, The bored noble one who ran away from a marriage (Character played by T. K.)
Motto: Life is and should always be what you made of it, and I fully intend to make mine one worth living. The Crew - The Crew - Nationality: Spanish - Gender: unisex
Teaser: THEMES: adventure - patronage - love - idealism
C.M. Colon De Portugal Y Ayala is not only a noble, but one of the very important ones: a ''Grande'', as the Spanish like to call the high nobility.
But if one thing never really meant anything in the nobleperson's life are material things. The things the spaniard truly desire are the ones no money can buy, those that give life true meaning. That's why no place is ever big enough, no food is ever good enough and why, most importantly, no story or adventure is ever foolish enough. That's how C.M. ended up on Melee island first, then on the La Grace. That's how C. M always lives. Trying to find something over the horizon that can make one's life really worth living.
Relations: Good friend with J. Lafitte, Goodwill, M. Karks and Tamirez; V. Portero is the first true friend and nothing can tear them apart. M. Gresset is an interesting person, with a lot of stories to tell.
C. M. has a general interest in all the artists and that led to a funny, unofficial and urequitted feud with R. Farìa, who apparently wants to prove to be the best and richest on the Island, which the yougling is obviously not.
#4 - Dorian Cobb, The unlucky smuggler (Character played by P. D.)
Motto: I make my own fortune, and I'll be darned if somebody says otherwise! The Crew - The Crew - Nationality: English - Gender: unisex
Teaser: THEMES: personal quest - misfortune - luck - supernatural
D. Cobb is somebody who has always regarderd themself as a person that can make it on their own. Always a lowlife, too keen to love the promise of easy money and loot, they have experience in thievery and smuggling. A well respected professional in their field, Cobb worked with the best, always stayed true to the path of injustice and never heard a word of reproach from the top tier thieves and killers that Cobb used to work with.
Truly, a blessed career.
Then suddenly, a single action teared Cobb's life apart, shutting down for good their lucky star. Cobb's money, contacts, brilliant carreer! All seems lost, dead and gone. Is it voodoo? Is it a curse? Is it... God?
Cobb is determined to end this! Dodge misfortune and fix life once and for all!
Relations: D. Cobb used to work with Blackguard and they seem to be friends.
There was some history with Langer but they haven't see each other in a while.
Adìma knows of Cobb's last argument with the Dutch boss of the island.
Cobb suspects something about O. Dion and the brothel.
#30 - Elaine Cowman, The stranger (Character played by A. I.)
Motto: God, your vengeance may sometimes be slow in coming, but I think that then it is all the more complete. The Crew - The Crew - Nationality: English - Gender: unisex - Archetypes: Character with no previous relationships with the rest of the crew.
Teaser: THEMES: revenge - investigation - lies - finding a new purpose
When newcomers arrive to Melee Island, usually nobody cares... except for innkeepers and brothel workers looking for new customers.
When Cowman set foot in town it was no different, but while the Stranger surely managed to get some information on the islanders, nobody could guess a damn thing about who that mysterious English traveller actually was. ''Nobody, for now....'' was the baffling answer that Cowman gave to everyone who asked. One thing is sure, judging by the cautious behaviour and the elusive nature of the newcomer, it is clear that Cowman is hiding something, and either looking for or running from something, maybe someone. That might be the reason this outsider joined the crew; in fact even the circumstances of the Stranger's recruiting are confusing...
Actually, it's hard to tell who exactly asked Cowman to join them.
Relations: Once arrived on Melee Island, talked to Pulling and E. Dion to gather information.
O. Dion has a familiar face, the face of someone who Cowman tried to forget.
R. Farìa stares... a lot. Why?
#7 - Enriquez Aguilar Garcia De la Santa Maria Juana, The former-fusilier, deserter soldier & master of firearms (Character played by B. D.)
Motto: Some birds are not meant to be caged. The Crew - The Crew - Nationality: Spanish - Gender: unisex - Advices: This character teaches others the art of the firearms, the player should be comfortable with pretending to be a gun master
Teaser: THEMES: loot - pride - friendship - responsibility
E. Aguilar Garcia was said to be the fastest gun in the service of the Spanish Crown, but also the fastest tongue in responding to superiors, and not exactly in a polite way. The former fusilier is a lone wolf, always has been: can't stand orders, hierarchy or authority, and generally doesn't like to trust others. Outspoken, rude, aggressive, with a talent to come up with the most colourful and inventive insults and blasphemies, the army wasn't really the place for Aguilar, nor any of the jobs that followed, apparently.
Possibly life on board will not be different, but the former Spanish soldier has a dream to fulfill, and the loot that will come from being a pirate is a good enough reason to endure the rest of the crew, for a while...
Relations: Shares a weird friendship with P. Lafitte. I. M. Escudero Cortéz used to be a friend, but years ago they argued and they never managed to settle the dispute, there is still tension between those two. F. Castillo is clearly a holy person, one who can save even the worst devils from Hell, that's why Aguilar calls Castillo a friend and a confessor. Gresset is not fit to be their captain. F. Farìa saved Aguilar in a trial, years ago, and didn't even want to get paid. Auguilar swore that would have returned the favour in the future.
#15 - Eustache Dion, The airheaded escort (Character played by P. V.)
Motto: What?'' The Crew - The Crew - Nationality: French - Gender: unisex
Teaser: THEMES: comedy - friendship - unconventional thinking - adventure
''Now, E. Dion may be lovely in many ways but - God - everyone can tell that is dumb.
It must be hard for such a clever sibling to be related to this charming but stupid creature.
Were E. at least good at the job... but as far as I've heard, nobody in the ''A Thousand Pieces of Eight'' pleasure house has ever enjoyed the company of E. Dion. Could it be that Dion is too stupid for humanity's oldest profession?
Nevertheless, it is evident that these two siblings love each other and, were this not a dog-eat-dog world, more people would actually appreciate Dion's particularly unique imagination -the treasure-hunting talk, the lust for adventure and their peculiar way to see things in people-. Yes, it's fun... sometimes. At least, when it doesn't get us killed.''
Relations: O. Dion is their sibling and they love each other dearly.
M. Gresset used to live in the brother: M. is a funny and gallant.
E. is scared of W. Barker but nobody understands why.
Escudero Cortéz is buzzing around them and Dion is not sure why.
Cowman has a known face.
P. Domingos is a hero to them.
#26 - Febe Farìa Montez Lèon Dos Santos Velosos De Mar, The drunken in love, once successful attorney (Character played by T. A.)
Motto: May I please have one whisky please, I have to drown my sorrow... you bitch! The Crew - The Crew - Nationality: Portuguese - Gender: unisex
Teaser: THEMES: love - eloquence/coarseness - politeness/harassement - double personality
Lately on Melee Island, F. may be known as the town drunkard, but few knows that they are the pride of the Farìa family, marquees of Abrantes and one of the most prestigious families\ in the whole Portugal. Talented lawyer, charming lover, sharp as a tack, F. never lost a case and nobody has ever turned away from their courtships. Except once.
When F. finally met the right one, it felt like the first day of their life, and it was, in fact the very beginning of one of F.'s two lives.
Relations: Adìma is a scumbag that blew to pieces F.’s last bits of hope.
R. Farìa is F.’s spoiled little sister/brother. As far as F. knows, R. is still in Lisbon, taking a bath in goat milk surrounded by masseurs and personal chaperons.
Karks is F.’s greatest inspiration, and her/his true love.
Domingos used to work for F.
One day Aguilar came to F. desperately asking for an attorney for a very important pro-bono case and F. accepted. Now they are good friends.
F. defended W. Barker in a very difficult case. They are true friends.
#9 - Felizia Castillo, The devoted and pious person (Character played by E. J.)
Motto: The ways of the Lord are endless, but Lucifer's arrogance led him to hell... The Crew - The Crew - Nationality: Spanish - Gender: unisex
Teaser: THEMES: faith - promise - challenge - new dream
Since childhood, Castillo grew up in an abbey and learned the value of faith and pray. Sincere and devoted, the religious loves to help people and maybe, too often, relies on God instead of acting directly. Quiet, shy and reserved, Castillo certainly doesn’t seem the right person to sail to sea, yet left the abbey in Spain to do deeds of good and charity in the New World. Some say that Castillo made a vow, to fulfil which F. has come as far as the remote island of Melee. No one thinks this devoted person fits to be a sailor, but Castillo does not give up, and full of determination and perseverance will follow God's will, even at the bottom of the Ocean if necessary, bringing faith and hope where they are needed. And then a blessing can always be useful when traveling by sea...
Relations: J. A. Martinez de Sotomayor lingers with the gaze on Castillo, more often than not, but the reason why is still to be determined.
E. Aguilar Garcia De la Santa Maria Juana swears a lot, and apparently have decided that Castillo should act as a confessor to save that weird former soldier from the ''Infierno''.
Castillo is a little concerned about the presence of the creepy Guamà, who shows interest towards Castillo's faith.
Castillo is also concerned about the bad reputation of R. ''El Perro Loco'' Cabrero, and hopes that what is told about this person is not entirely true.
#18 - Florence Goodwill, The dreamy craftsperson (Character played by V. S.)
Motto: We got together in a few days a company of the toughest old salts imaginable - not pretty to look at, but fellows, by their faces, of the most indomitable spirit. The Crew - The Crew - Nationality: English - Gender: unisex
Teaser: THEMES: adventure - dream - friendship - glory
The Goodwill family careered the boats on Melee Island for generations, in fact they have a well-established and well-paying workshop, and teach their children to keep their feet on the ground, metaphorically and even literally. Despite the family teachings, F. Goodwill always loved getting lost in tales of pirates and freebooters, imagining mysterious islands, rich treasures and breathtaking adventures. It is no surprise that the young Goodwill has other dreamers as friends, what is surprising is that those bunch of adventure-loving people found the opportunity to actually fullfil their dreams in the pockets of a dead pirate.
It was not easy to abandon the family to embark on a risky and perhaps impossible adventure, they were devastated and disappointed, so now F. cannot fail and has to prove to them that it was the right call.
Relations: Good friend with C. M. Colon de Portugal Y Ayala, J. Lafitte, M. Karks and Tamirez; Goodwill never trusted P. Lafitte and still doesn't like the idea of having that one on board the ship. F. shares a very weird friendship with T. Langer, one that sometimes is worrying and even scaring. Goodwill asked Guamà to heal Langer, so now owes a debt of gratitude with the native.
#5 - Guamá, The Voodoo healer (Character played by A. V.)
Motto: Spirits have words for everyone, but not everyone has ears to understand... The Crew - The Crew - Nationality: Caribbean - Gender: unisex - Archetypes: Healing skills
Teaser: THEMES: superstition - tradition - revenge - mission
Guamà comes from a village that believed in traditions and ancient legends, and even though that village is no longer there, Guamà holds in the heart the wisdom of ancient knowledge, woodoo magic and sea prophecies. Skilled since childhood in recognizing medicinal herbs and in treating wounds and illnesses with care wraps, soothing balms and healing infusions, the native tries to cure anyone who needs it, even if not everyone deserves this favour. Many people despise the healing arts, but Guamà doesn’t care for them: the spirits speak to the healer and give premonitory dreams, and those who know how to listen will be rewarded, while those who are too foolish to understand will be swallowed up by the evil creatures of the sea. Ancient knowledge must be preserved.
Relations: W. Barker is a silly person, that denies what can’t understand. So foolish!
F. Castillo is really a devoted and interesting person, it would be nice to speak together about both religions and beliefs. Maybe there are more similarities than differences.
P. Domingos is a person who can't be trusted.
R. Pulling is a smart person, who well knows the power of spirits and the truth behind sea legends.
F. Goodwill asked Guamà to heal T. Langer, and the native did, but maybe Langer didn't deserve it.
A weird juju comes from F. Farìa and M. Karks.
#6 - Ignacio Morgado Escudero Cortéz, The duelist dandy & master of sword (Character played by E. F.)
Motto: Hola, me llamo Escudero Cortéz, tú mataste a mi familia, prepárate a morir. The Crew - The Crew - Nationality: Spanish - Gender: unisex - Advices: This character teaches others the art of the sword, the player should be comfortable with pretending to be a fencing master.
Teaser: THEMES: revenge - pride - honour - a new family
Escudero Cortéz has been a legend for years, the ability to master fencing is well known, as well as the iron code of honour and the elegant taste for clothes, jewels and people. Once Escudero's word has been given, it is carved in stone, and the same goes for challenges and bets, of course. Given the line of work and tendency to duel over any issue, the fancy swordmasters is admired by many, but also hated. So much glory, so much honor, and unfortunately so many enemies. Sadly, some of those many enemies killed the Cortéz family while the fencing master was on Melee Island trying to teach the noble art to an undeserving idiot. Not only Escudero had to live with the first failure of a brilliant and flawless career, but while wasting time on Melee Island I. M. wasn't there when they killed Father, Mother and little brother. Now it's time to avenge the family, but to succeed in this, one must know who the killers are and unfortunately the criminal boss in possession of this piece of information has asked for a fortune. Now it is time to earn a rich loot and then avenge the family, unless some other oath or revenge gets in the way.
Relations: E. Aguilar Garcia De la Santa Maria Juana used to be a friend, but years ago they argued and they never managed to settle the dispute, there is still tension between those two. C. M. Colon de Portugal Y Ayala was the worst pupil ever and possibly the reason Escudero's family got killed. At least V. Portero is a nice and interesting person. R. Farìa challenged Escudero to seduce the famous unattainable escort E. Dion.
#1 - Jade Lafitte, The pirate's child in search of adventure and revenge (Character played by J. H.)
Motto: So you think I will never become a real pirate? Watch me, you filthy bilge rat!!! The Crew - The Crew - Nationality: French - Gender: unisex
Teaser: THEMES: enthusiasm - adventure - revenge - dream
Some might define J. Lafitte as an enthusiastic, courageous and persevering person who has pursued the dream of a lifetime since childhood. But those would be very few, in fact... most people on Melee Island would rather say: ''a pain in the ass'', childish, stubborn and cheating. Everyone agrees that Lafitte is like that because of the legendary corsair Lafitte, who was killed in mysterious circumstances leaving behind two orphaned children; the desire for revenge and to follow in their father's footsteps shaped J.'s personality. The whole enterprise of posing as Captain Phoenix and his crew is actually Lafitte's idea.
Relations: J. Lafitte and P. Lafitte are siblings, and orphans, after a tragedy occurred to their family. They grew up on Melee Island counting on each other, but they are very different people and they usually argue, a lot. Good friend with C. M. Colon de Portugal Y Ayala, Goodwill, M. Karks and Tamirez; while Portero and Gresset are a pain in the ass, but it was necessary to have them on board. Doesn't like Blackguard nor Cowman on the ship... they cannot be trusted.
#24 - Jamira Avelina Martinez de Sotomayor, The innocent convict on the run (Character played by M. C.)
Motto: Moral wounds may be hidden, but they never close; always painful, always ready to bleed when touched, they remain fresh and open in the heart. The Crew - The Crew - Nationality: Spanish - Gender: unisex
Teaser: THEMES: freedom - revenge - treasure hunt
Once upon a time, on Lucre Island, there was a wealthy and honest merchant, without an ounce of desire for adventure.
Martinez's life was all perfect and planned: good business and a wedding looming, until the scion of the good Sotomayor family was falsely accused and thrown in jail to rot forever. Strange friendships are made in prison, and thanks to a lucky acquaintance, Martinez ended up escaping from jail and obtaining secret information to find the richest and most legendary treasure in the Caribbean.
How J.A. ended up disrupting the lives of unsuspecting strangers and boarding up La Grace... well, that's another story.
Relations: Martinez and Kailane's destinies are entwined.
Necessity creates strange friendships, and so the bond with S. Pascal was born. Now they quarrel because they were about to be hanged, and each one blames the other.
Martinez stares at F. Castillo way too often not to be noticed.
#13 - Kailane, The storyteller with a mysterious past (Character played by M. C.)
Motto: If you leave the old road for the new, you know what you leave but you ignore what you'll find. The Crew - The Crew - Nationality: Caribbean - Gender: unisex - Advices: This character is skilled with use of dialectic, so the player should be comfortable with speeches and with telling stories.
Teaser: THEMES: new life - secret - treasure - fear
Kailane doesn't like to talk about the past, as had suffered because of slavery, and although Kailane is able to turn the conversation with some hilarious jokes or funny stories, the gaze is often pierced by worries and fears. Anyway the native is a skilled storyteller and everyone loves to hear the legends of the seven seas and the origin of the New World. Sometimes the Caribbean would like to go back to the past, in a place and with a role that gave an impression of security and stability, while now, free to do everything, Kailane has the impression of being hunted by regrets... and maybe not only by them. But everything can be turned into a good story, and sailing on a vessel in search of ancient treasures is among the best ones.
Relations: It is not clear how, but Kailane and J. A. Martinez de Sotomayor surely were bounded by the destiny.
They become the followers of Adima the great and Kailane tells stories about native legends.
Kailane has known Tamirez for a long time, and they share a similar past. Kailane is very interested in Guamà's stories about spirits and sea legends. As soon as Lafitte siblings have begun to search crew members, Kailane immediately offered to go with them.
#2 - Marcel Gresset, The fake pirate captain, seductive but unfit for anything… (Character played by O. S.)
Motto: The world hasn't seen the half of me! The Crew - The Crew - Nationality: French - Gender: unisex
Teaser: THEMES: fame - social and personal uprising - duplicity - love
If you would ask people around about M. Gresset, everyone would probably tell you very different things and have different feelings, though one thing is for certain: they would be strong feelings. Gresset is the tipical person you either love, hate or don't know at all. A pathological liar, duplicitous at time, but naturally funny and with a innate talent for storytelling. Those things ended up saving the French's life multiple times: one way or another, Gresset always come out of everything clean. And that's probably why Gresset ended up posing as Captain Phoenix.
Relations: E. Aguilar Garcia De la Santa Maria Juana immediatly complained about Gresset being the Captain, that Spanish former soldier will sure cause trouble. It was J. Lafitte who recruited Gresset to be the new Captain, but that fellow doesn't seem to like M. very much. E.Dion believes that M. is a nice person with charming manners. S.Pascal The two used to organize scams together, but things didn't end up so well. Pulling and M. used to be good friends, until a deal went wrong.
#27 - Myra Karks, The visionary writer (Character played by A. R.)
Motto: The ground is low but thus shall not be our dignity. The Crew - The Crew - Nationality: English - Gender: unisex
Teaser: THEMES: dreams - politics - fighting the power - something is not right
M.Karks simply cannot stand to see all the injustices perpetrated in front of their eyes everyday in Melée Island. Slavery, forced prostitution, government corruption, just some of the ways in which the powerful and the noble scum take away people’s dignity. There must be a way to stand up to this, to fight this rotting system!
Pirates are different: they do not care about nobility and power, they steal from rich people instead!
However, M. was always felt too fearful to become a pirate.. until one day a miracle happened: a new stream of energy started running through M.’s veins and all of a sudden all fears were gone, M. felt like they could inspire the whole world with their words of justice, and finally write a masterpiece that will be passed on from each generation to the next.
Relations: Tamirez and Walsh were comrades in the past, back when M. was out of inspiration.
F. Farìa is a lovely, literate but boring person... excepts when is drunk!
J. Lafitte, Tamirez, C. M. Colon de Portugal Y Ayala, F. Goodwill, V. Portero and M. Gresset are the dream team, all ready for a great adventure.
#12 - Obra Dion, The brothel owner with a sharp mind (Character played by A. Z.)
Motto: You know nothing, let me handle this! The Crew - The Crew - Nationality: French - Gender: unisex
Teaser: THEMES : readiness - leadership - adventure
A quick witted, clear minded one; that's what Dion appears to be, and that's what Dion is.
Dion is one step ahead, thinking on their feet, grabbing luck when it passes by.
What is a small mistake, to such a mind? What is a slow witted sibling, when O. can always think for two?
Dion will make it work, they will keep on sailing toward that golden future ahead, to the place where both Dion siblings will achieve the perfect life.
Relations: E.Dion is their sibling and the person they care about the most. They'd do anything for them .
Cowman has a familiar face.
P.Domingos often visited the brothel and now is on the ship because of Dion.
M.Gresset used to live in the brothel, and they had an understanding about that.
#14 - Pedro Domingos, The meek accountant (Character played by D. S.)
Motto: Keeping you head low is the best way to avoid hitting it The Crew - The Crew - Nationality: Portuguese - Gender: unisex
Teaser: THEMES: cowardice - growth - love - comedy
''Shy, meek, mousy''. Those are the kind words friends might use to describe Domingos. But all is well, as Domingos does not have many friends anyway. Domingos has spent a lifetime learning to be the smallest fish in a sea full of sharks. Domingos is contented to be that smallest fish, that keeps their head down and their expectations low.
Life was perfectly boring and safe until that wretched O. Dion pressganged Domingos, dragging them all down into this dreadful adventure!
The other Dion sibling, on the other hand... has awakened something inside of Domingos and God only knows where this weird new feeling might lead them.
Relations: O. Dion is that horrible cold hearted monster that dragged Domingos in this adventure.
E. Dion is a lovely creature and Domingos somewhat cares about them.
F. Farìa is a traitor.
Domingos is steering away from Guamà for some reason.
Has dealings with V. Portero, a like-minded fellow.
Domingos feels a bit weird about the way Walsh looks at him.
#23 - Perle Lafitte, The pirate's child, bound by a promise (Character played by T. P.)
Motto: Take what you can, give nothing back. The Crew - The Crew - Nationality: French - Gender: unisex
Teaser: THEMES: honor - social climb - ambition - individualism
Two orphans abandoned to themselves after a series of tragedies shared the same troubled path, but in the end they became two completely different people. Rational, scheming, prudent, but also opportunistic if necessary, P. Lafitte has ambitions and desires that must be kept hidden, because one thing was inherited from the deceased father: a sense of honour. The Lafitte siblings made a promise to each other when they were kids, an oath to avenge their father and follow his path in piracy. Unfortunately this is not the life that P. pictured growing up, because their father also used to be a respectable and rich merchant before throwing away everything to become a pirate, and that's the legacy one should aspire to.
Divided between what would be desirable and what must be done to stay true to a silly promise, the future is very much uncertain.
Relations: J. Lafitte and P. Lafitte are siblings, and orphans, after a tragedy occurred to their family. They grew up on Melee Island counting on each other, but they are very different people and they usually argue, a lot. While P. cannot stand Tamirez, shares a weird friendship with E. Aguilar Garcia De la Santa Maria Juana. There are very few people to whom P. Lafitte is usually kind, and those are C. M. Colon De Portugal Y Ayala, R. Pulling (11 ), and even fewer people who are respectable and interesting, like V. Portero and W. Barker.
#11 - Reginald "Reggie" Pulling, The tavern owner drawning in debts (Character played by P. C.)
Motto: Did you hear about the sea monster that sank the Santa Esperanza in the seas of Skull Island? The sea is terrifying and dangerous, and I'm not going to drown, again. The Crew - The Crew - Nationality: English - Gender: unisex
Teaser: THEMES: superstition - good heart - fear of adventure - treasure hunt
A good person, a generous heart, a gruff attitude, and a lot of superstition. That's Pulling in a nutshell. Some say Pulling has worked as a deckhand many years ago, witnessing monstrous and inexplicable facts that instilled in the young heart the fear of the sea. But those must be just stories, because everyone on Melee Island knows for a fact that R. has always run the family tavern, where pirates are welcome to drink the best grog on the island and tell stories. Almost everyone loves Pulling and knows about the fear of the sea, which is why the escape to embark is a complete nonsense. But those who hang out in the local underworld also know for a fact that Pulling was heavily indebted for a failed deal, and the criminal bosses of Melee Island are no joke. If those stories were true, Pulling might have escaped to avoid certain death, or possibly to find the money to pay the debts and get back the beloved tavern.
Relations: Gresset used to be a good a friend, but not anymore, while Y. McDougall betrayed Pulling's trust, and even if the latter then saved R.'s life, there are no chances that those two will be forgiven. Cowman asked a lot of questions about the people on Melee Island, and payed good money, Pulling find that stranger quite intriguing and dangerous, in a good way. The Lafitte siblings, J. and P., are good friends.
W. Barker is a good client, and likes strong drinks very much.
Guamà is a woodoo healer, the knowledge of the native should not be underestimated. Cobb is clearly cursed and Pulling is trying to help lifting the curse.
F. Farìa is often at the tavern and R. had to kick them out a couple of times.
R. Farìa one night has rented the tavern for a big fancy party
#20 - Reyes Farìa Montez Lèon Do Santos Velosos De Mar, The spoiled noble brat (Character played by S. V.)
Motto: Stop staring. Do you know is dangerous to look directly into the Sun? The Crew - The Crew - Nationality: Portuguese - Gender: unisex
Teaser: THEMES: ''extravagance - luxury - comedy - judgemental''
R. just arrived straight from a luxurious court in Lisbon to the filth and squalor of Melée Island for a simple but crucial mission. Well, turns out it is probably not that simple for them, since they come from said luxurious court in Lisbon and never stepped out of it before in their life.
Nevertheless, this is the hoped chance for R. to prove their worthyness, or at least to bring refinement and taste to these caribbean oafs.
R. simply cannot stand mediocrity, everything around their person has to be beautiful and glamorous, otherwise it is not worthy of R.'s presence. R. likes to surround themselves with good-looking or eye-catching people to form, willing or not, a crowd of servants.
Relations: C. Sandor is their personal vallet.
F. Farìa is their sibling. It is all F.'s fault that R. has to be in this hellhole.
R. challenged Escudero to seduce the famous unattainable escort E. Dion and has a subtle rivalry with Colon de Portugal on who is the most worthy of a noble title.
Walsh is their body guard.
Gresset has confessed to R. that there is no better barber in the island than ''El Barbero Loco''
R. is intrigued by the mysterious Cowman, they simply want the stranger in their entourage.
Blackguard has offered to be their informer.

Teaser: Themes: personal quest - comedy of errors - change
El Perro Loco is an infamous character in the Caribbean. When people hear that name, it makes the hair on their spine stand up. Only mentioning that name would clear a room in a crowded bar. And yet, no matter this successful life of murder and slaughter and blood, Cabrero is not happy. At the highest point in their carreer, R. feels wanting for more.
Enough with blood, R. wants to find truth, beauty, love.
Now the problem is explaining this to the mob.

E.Dion seems to understand him and wrote something for him.

Motto: Yes, of course there is a remedy for that. Payment upfront The Crew - The Crew - Nationality: French - Gender: unisex

Adìma is the most powerful, the most incredible, the most venerated Voodoo witch in town! With a little bideebeebup here and a little sprinklylittlethingy there they can heal you, conquer your true love, or let youhave a little chat with the dead ones. For the right price of course.
Being so famous certainly has its downsides, and Adìma knows a thing or two about dealing with envious people, that just cannot deal with them being so... great!
Relations: Necessity creates strange friendships, and so the bond with Martinez and Kailane was born.
M. Gresset, the two used to work together until the day they decided to scam each other.
It's better not to speak with Guamà due to different point of views.
F. Farìa paid good money for one Voodoo mojo. Same did a scraggy little fella, P.Domingos.
Cobb for sure is one big cow to milk.
#25 - Tag Langer, The shady one who made a promise (character available)
Motto: Flatter me, and I may not believe you. Criticize me, and I may not like you. Ignore me, and I may not forgive you. Encourage me, and I will not forget you. Love me and I may be forced to love you. The Crew - The Crew - Nationality: Irish - Gender: unisex
Teaser: THEMES: freedom - friendship - self acceptance - a new purpose
When Langer arrived on Melee Island, years ago, the future was pretty grim: no money, no friends, a bad wound still open, a terrible fever and dangerous enemies on their way to finish the job and kill T..
The newcomer was clearly a criminal, someone not to be trusted, or helped. But nontheless Langer's life was saved by Goodwill's gentle heart, and delirious with fever, T. promised to the good samaritan that the debt would be repaid. Nobody had ever been kind to Langer, or did anything for free, the whole story of being healed by a stranger was welcomed with gratitude, but also confusion.
Eventually Langer even managed to make a living on the island, staying hidden from the dangers of the past thanks to a deal with an even more dangerous person. Problem is, now that Goodwill is leaving, Langer has to follow. Unfortunately the deal requires Langer not to leave Melee Island or betray the new boss, and staying true to the promise of protecting Goodwill clearly violates both rules. With heavy heart, Langer made a choice and decided to embark, despite the possibly tragic consequenses.
Relations: Langer has promised to look after Goodwill, no matter what. Langer and Cobb used to know each other back in the days, but they didn't part as friends. Guamà healed Langer but then regretted it, Langer feels like a debt should always be paid and tries to be kind with the weird healer. Y. McDougall is a very despicable and dangerous person on Melee Island, that's why talking to each other comes so easy, they sort of became friends.
#22 - Tamirez, The former slave (Character played by P. E.)
Motto: The New World is full of opportunities, but you must know how to embrace them, or you will be only a wreck adrift. The Crew - The Crew - Nationality: Caribbean - Gender: unisex - Advices: This character has a long scar on a leg.
Teaser: THEMES: new life - dream - courage - doubt
Tamirez has been a slave for a long time, but a gesture of courage convinced the master to free the native. Freedom is powerful, but Tamirez realized to be suddenly without a guide and without a purpose, in search of a new life and a new future. There are many opportunities in the New World, you just need to know how to reach them, and Tamirez wants to leave a mark. There are many dreams to carry on, and to start the former slave decided to help the good friend J. Lafitte to realize a big mission. Lafitte was the first one who welcomed Tamirez to Melee Island, and so the Caribbean will follow the friend starting an adventure on the waves of the sea.
Relations: Tamirez just can't stand P. Lafitte, while the sibling J. Lafitte is adorable and a close friend.
F. Goodwill is a very good friend and a nice person.
Tamirez didn't think it would be possible to see Kailane again, but they certainly have a lot to tell each other.
Thanks to J. Lafitte, Tamirez knew C. M. Colon de Portugal Y Ayala, F. Goodwill, V. Portero and M. Gresset, all ready for a great adventure.
In the past Tamirez and A. Walsh tried to join M. Karks's fight but felt like loosing time. Recent rumours say that something weird has happened to M.
#16 - Victor Portero, The servant of the bored nobleperson (Character played by I. M.)
Motto: Some are born to rule, others are born to serve, but the biggest honour is knowing and respecting one's place. The Crew - The Crew - Nationality: Spanish - Gender: unisex
Teaser: THEMES: tradition - honour - friendship/love
There's true honour is servitude. That's what life has always been for V. Portero, and it was a really wonderful life, especially because the servant was very lucky when it came to the master. The best one could hope for: generous, uninterest in etiquette (maybe a little too much) and non conventional in almost every way. If only the master had been a little more down to heart, V. could have spend a quiet and peaceful life in Veragua. But one's capability to do the right thing is only really proven when things go south and then a truly devoted servant would never abandon a master. That doesn't forbid V. to despise the smelly Island and regret the day they found Lafitte on their path. Pretending to be pirates has to be the cherry on top. At least that's what V. hopes..
Relations: P. Lafitte tries to be a good friend to Portero's master, but is Portero who enjoys Lafitte's company the most.
Domingos is a nice person, quiet and calm and has a sense for business, that's why V. decided to invest some money with the accountant. Now Porter would like to know where the money is
V. found Blackguard in the house and was sure the crook was there to pull some scheme, but unexpectedly Blackguard confessed to have feelings for V. The thing was so unusual that the servant actually taught about it.
#3 - Wrena Barker, The British doctor (Character played by L. K.)
Motto: Memories of the past get you nowhere. The Crew - The Crew - Nationality: English - Gender: unisex - Archetypes: Healing skills
Teaser: THEMES: payback - regret - new life - honour
Barker is a respectable and honourable person, even if sometimes drinks a little too much at the tavern. Previously an officer in the British Navy, W. is a very good doctor, and nobody understands the decision to retire to private life and live on the small island of Melee. Probably Barker’s skills could have led to a great career, but the doctor tells everyone that military life is no longer interesting, and that a quiet life is preferable, even if in those moments a veil of nostalgia always overshadows Barker’s gaze. At sunset the doctor often looks towards the sea, perhaps in search of new adventures, and what better way than to board on the Grace in search of luck?
Relations: There are very few respectable people to talk to on the island, and way less on the ship, P. Lafitte is one of those. A. Blackguard, on the contrary, is a gross and annoying person.
Can't stand Guamà nor Adìma the great, two silly superstitious savages.
The doctor is used to often spend time at R. Pulling tavern, tasting as much liqueur as possible.
F. Farìa is an old and true friends. Often at the tavern, they had a few drinks together.
#10 - Yu McDougall, The brawler, goon of a powerful criminal boss (Character played by N. F.)
Motto: You gotta do what you gotta do! The Crew - The Crew - Nationality: Irish - Gender: unisex
Teaser: THEMES: inevitability - desire for a normal life - revenge - friendship
If you had to sum Y. McDougall's life in a few words, the best one would probably be: ''Stop whining, start working''. It's never really up to you to decide what you'll end up doing, so once it's there, you better just fucking do it. It's easier, both on your mind and on your liver. Even if what you have to do is work for the mob. And it would have worked so well if it wasn't for those damn feelings. The ones that made the Irish leave Melee Island and embark on the ship, the ones that stopped Y.'s hands when Pulling was supposed to end up dead. The boss will not be happy when she finds out about this, and the stupid remorse wasn't even worth Pulling's forgiveness. Y. knows that feelings suck, then why it is so difficult to shut them down? If only there was something else to think about, like for example making the real culprit pay...
Relations: Gresset is a sworn enemy.
Castillo is the only real devout person, to whom Y. confesses everything.
Pulling was the only real friend, but things went south and Y. wants to make ammend.
Blackguard failed a job, so it had to be done; and c'mon, it was only a couple of ribs.
Langer really tries to change, it's something one should sympatize with.
