#88 - Vogg Knuth, The trader from the Shivering Sea (personaggio interpretato da J. F.)
Motto: The colder the water, the richest the fish. Provenienza: International - Gruppo: Free Cities - I viaggiatori delle Città Libere - Genere: male - Età dell'interprete: qualsiasi
Teaser: The Shivering Sea. A wide-spreading water expanse separating the peoples of Essos from the frozen wilderness of the White Waste, bounded to the West by the Northern coast of Westeros and stretching to the East to lands and seas unknown. Its shores, its waters, its countless rocky islands and sea stacks teeming with fish and fowl and sea-beasts, prized for their flesh as well as for their feather, bone, hide, oil or ivory: seals, narwhals, walruses, whitebirds, whales of every sort, krakens and leviathans. Not to speak of the treasures of the land which abound up its shores - rare timber and furs, gold and amber and ancient treasures.
The island nation of Ibben stands in the midst of these waters; from there hunting, fishing and whaling vessels, as well as many merchantmen, set sail towards East, West, South and North reaching up to the remotest shores of Essos and Westeros. All lands seek the wares coming from the icy waters of utmost North, and all lands have great wealth to trade them for; Vogg Knuth is just one among many Ibbenese who can be found trading ashore, but his frequent voyages to the wealthiest ports of the Free Cities and Westeros make him one of the most experienced.
Legami: He joined the Braavos legation following his old trading partner Belario, who sells him Westerian furs and hidework in exchange for sealskin and ivory and precious wares from the lands North and East. Through Thorar Vassel he has a small account at the Iron Bank of Braavos, convenient for a man from Ibben who spends months trading in Western waters. A few times he also traded with Alia Deem: Ambergris is precious and not easily found, as are some spices from Southern lands that some wealthy Ibbenese are fond of. [to be completed]
#89 - Miclin, The brazen fighter (personaggio interpretato da C. H.)
Motto: Many said to me that I'm just a woman. Now they lack a tongue to apologize. Provenienza: International - Gruppo: Free Cities - I viaggiatori delle Città Libere - Genere: female - Età dell'interprete: any age - Archetipi: (clicca per descrizione) Tenace - Tough
Teaser: Miclin and Tista. The golden sisters. Miclin has spent her whole life fighting to defend herself and she can to it so well with her sword, she decided to make it a career defending someone else. If it wasn’t for Tista, the rational one in this sisterly duo, Miclin would always be fighting, ready to let her rage loose on the battlefield and earn money to go get drunk in some tavern, and measure herself against other men. Rumor has it her lovers find their ribs broken after laying with her.
Legami: Tista is her sister, and she’s incredibly protective of her. Tista is the only one she accepts advice from, sicne she thinks she’s one of the most thoughtful people in the world. With her, she’s working for the East travelers as a bodyguard; Theynian Fyo negotiated the hire, he’s a shifty merchant, but since he was paying well and Laswell Peake didn’t forbid private deals, they decided to accept. She’s intrigued by the two swordsmen of Braavos, whom she saw practice.
#91 - Thorar Vhassel, The Iron Banker (personaggio interpretato da M. M.)
Motto: Money is like sex: if you lack of it, you think about it all the time. If you have it, you can think of something else. Provenienza: International - Gruppo: Free Cities - I viaggiatori delle Città Libere - Genere: male - Età dell'interprete: from 24 to 36 - Archetipi: (clicca per descrizione) Ricco - Wealthy
Teaser: Everyone knows Lannisters are famous for ‘repaying their debts’, but even to the other side of the sea the Iron Bank reminds everyone it ‘will have its due’. And it appears the Lion owes some gold. Thorar is the right man for this kind of matter, people say he’s never allowed even a single coin of discount from his debtors.
Why not, then, seize the opportunity to find other powerful people worth of his services - because money, like power, is never enough.
And perhaps there will be one, among the lavish people gathered for the wedding, who’ll tickle his uncontrollable appetite - a new pastime.
Legami: Sponsor of the delegation from Braavos. He will collaborate with Quill Volentin to have a common line of action and get the money back. His direct debtor with the Lannisters is Lord Lucion: he’s heard some rumors about him and can’t wait to have a chat to make him understand it’s not a good idea to keep the Iron Bank waiting. When Lady Gryselda Hightower was in Braavos for business he made sure to show her the city, and some say he’d have gladly shown her something else too; the relationship is friendly, anyway. He’s the main agent for Vogg Knuth for the little account the merchant has at the Iron Bank. With Quill, he’s hired some henchmen: Terro Enrio and Orbelo Iorio;although he doesn’t fully trust them, he understand it’s always better to use any means necessary, even the unconventional ones, to secure a negotiation. Sometimes steel is more convincing than the tongue. He’s been very impressed by the charisma of Lady Tyrissa. He suggested Belario to join the delegation; the two had collaborated in the past, especially when there had been profits for both of them. Some years ago Oggo Vollf worked for him a couple of times. He has known Edgar Morgrin for many years; he’s the official who manages the relationship of the rich merchant with the Iron Bank.
#92 - Quill Volentin, The Braavos banker (personaggio interpretato da Y. R.)
Motto: Coin is female. Thanks to her, everything and everyone can be bought. One shall not forget that. Provenienza: International - Gruppo: Free Cities - I viaggiatori delle Città Libere - Genere: female - Età dell'interprete: any age - Archetipi: (clicca per descrizione) Ricco - Wealthy
Teaser: Braavos. The biggest and most powerful of the nine Free Cities. And its bank, the most powerful, is loaded with money and conceit. Everyone fears it because everyone holds a debt to it. Among its emissaries there are also women who, like queens, administer the riches of this banking realm. Braavos has this way of warning their clients: when a debts isn’t repaid, the weaker sex becomes the strongest. Even the defaulting Martells can’t escape this rule. Quill knows it well, as as well as she knows the world would be a great place to live if women ruled, since much more clever and wise than their husbands they can be.
Legami: Sponsor of the delegation from Braavos. Quill will collaborate with Thorar Vhassel to have a common line of action and get the money back. Terro Enrio and Orbelo Iorio: she trusts them a lot, yet she knows that a negotiation run by their steel swords is a prelude of war. The Bank sent her to get back the debt of Nymor Martell. She knows Barbrey Dustin of the Boltons and Elrie Umber of the Northern Houses. It’s curious how that Eastern assistant, Gaelen, can make this trip feel like a pleasure walk for his master. Ydlyn Iyidae seems to often agree with what he says. Belario has well accepted his invitation to join them on this trip.
#94 - Belario, The leather dealer (personaggio interpretato da P. J.)
Motto: Commerce means seeking profit: it'd be futile not to pursue deals that maximize it, given the chance. Provenienza: International - Gruppo: Free Cities - I viaggiatori delle Città Libere - Genere: male - Età dell'interprete: 35 or more
Teaser: Slavery is illegal in Braavos, there are only free folks. This statement always brings a smile to your lips… Tyrosh people are less naive nor such hypocrites: they know very well there that complete freedom cannot exist, and that any civilization is inevitably built on the servitude of the inferiors towards the powerful. Their laws sanction this principle, allowing and regulating the trade that comes from it.
Everyone thinks they’re free in Braavos, but they have only traded in the slavery of flesh with the slavery of coins… And yet, the power of the bank in Braavos is great, to the point it has been convenient for you to move your operations there, even if that meant converting to a different kind of market: not people anymore, but exotic animals and their precious hides. The vast trading opportunities in Braavos have compensated you for the loss of your old trades to a point: that’s why you took the chance to come to Westeros to do business.
Legami: He’s travelling with the rest of the Braavos delegation, which he joined because he knows the bankers Thorar Vassel and Quill Volentin, sponsors of the trip. Ever since he’s moved to Braavos he’s found much easier to trade with Westeros, and has already traveled there many times, especially to trade leather and furs in the North; he has already had business relationships with Lord Harwood Stout, and many clients of all social extractions (such as Yohn Royce, Lanna Lannister e Chataya). Laswell Peake has also been his client once. He often trades with Vogg Knuth, selling goods from Westeros that he exports to Ibben. In the past, he’s had to do with Kinvar and Darryn.
#98 - Terro Enrio, The impetous henchman (personaggio interpretato da N. L.)
Motto: Even the flames dance; you can't grab them, and who tries will get burnt. Provenienza: International - Gruppo: Free Cities - I viaggiatori delle Città Libere - Genere: male - Età dell'interprete: 25 or less
Teaser: They say that in Westeros, if a young man from good yet modest family wants to get ahead, he needs to serve a nobleman or a knight. It’s easier in the Free Cities: you just need to find a good swordmaster, and then you can make your own way. A good blade always finds a good paycheck, good gold to spend in taverns and fame to scare pussies and seduce women. It’s easy to find some adventure between a job and the next, you just need to throw yourself in the mix and seize the occasion.
Never go alone: the Water Dance is a symmetrical dance, and you always need a mate to guard your side or cover your back. Even if he’s a bore sometimes.
Legami: He’s accompanying Thorar Vhassel and Quill Volentin, who have hired him to escort them as a bodyguard. Cousin of Orbelo Iorio and life long companion in their adventures. He knows Oggo Vollf from when he lived in Braavos too. Years ago in Braavos, with the help of Iorio, he challenged Three-legs Yajes to a duel: but only through Oggo’s intervention Yajes didn’t kill them both - he just left some permanent marks on their bodies. He knew Senella. During the trip, he’s noticed two mercenaries ogling him every time he trained his sword with his cousin.
#100 - Illyrio Mopatis, The wealthy Magister (personaggio interpretato da G. F.)
Motto: The world is a weaved canvas, and a man doesn't dare touch a single thread, lest the others move too. Provenienza: International - Gruppo: Free Cities - I viaggiatori delle Città Libere - Genere: male - Età dell'interprete: 33 or more - Archetipi: (clicca per descrizione) Ricco - Wealthy
Teaser:
In Essos, anyone can get their way in the world, if they have the skills and tenacity to do it. The way of the sword is the most common, but it’s a short one: the way of the coin is more difficult to walk, but the longer it’s followed, the higher one can get. Yet when one is at the top, it’s easy to find the scenery boring… so other ways to thread are searched, and places to widen the horizons.
When you can afford to gift dragon eggs, few things are left that can entice you… Yet beyond the Narrow Sea there’s a land full of riches and wonders, and even magic perhaps; no, there’s little left in essos that Illyrio Mopatis could desire, but something he craves is still out there: beyond the sea, there’s Westeros.
Legami: Sponsor of the delegation from Pentos. Your scribe and assistant is Lalaina; at his service, he also has Grey Rat, Brown Lizard e Yellow Dog. He has already visited the Seven Realms, and in the past, in many occasions, you have met Jago Barbanera, Edgar Morgrin, Gideon Lannister, Willas Tyrell and Aemma Tyrell. He knows Brella Oss from past business relationships. In the past, the valiant and reliable mercenaries Three-legs Yajes e Warrek have worked for him. In the past few years, the powerful alchemist Guwyn has worked for him - now he’s working for Lord Anders Yronwood.
#101 - Brella Oss, The merchant promised in marriage (personaggio interpretato da G. H.)
Motto: For some, marriage is a net; for others, a chain. For everyone, a noose. Provenienza: International - Gruppo: Free Cities - I viaggiatori delle Città Libere - Genere: female - Età dell'interprete: any age - Archetipi: (clicca per descrizione) Ricco - Wealthy
Teaser: Rich and powerful and with an excellent nose for business, Brella in never fully satisfied with what she attains. She’s fast bored with new things. Maybe a marriage will slow down her greed - but men are like trophies. And she always wants to win. At everything. The marriage between Martell and Tyrell might be an important event, but she can only imagine the boredom lacing over the guests. To fix this inconvenience, she has decided to hire a company of eccentric and bizarre artists, as a wedding gift. She knows her present will be the most intriguing and original of all. And if the show will keep Brella from yawning, then she’ll hire them for her wedding too, so it won’t be too difficult to smile for her groom.
Legami: She was amazed and happy to hear she’d travel along Illyrio Mopatis. She met him in the past for some trades. He’s normally a bearer of interesting news. She demanded Assadora to be her personal servant in this trip West, knowing this is a great favor to her. She’d liked to have the efficient Lalaina has an assistant, but Illyrio Mopatis was faster in the negotiation and payment. The trip has taken an interesting turn when she realized the eyes of Unwin Peake were on her. Brella, pleased, will keep him as a snack when she’s hungry. To pass the time, she gave Beqqo some orders, even if he’s not her employee. This attracted the dislike of Alia Deem, Beqqo’s true employer. With her, Brella has hired a group of performers, Ricasso, Rhialta Vance, Qotho and Nymerianna, as a wedding gift for the wedding at Summerhall. Who knows if Seban, the sensual servant, if truly worth his fame. She must find out before meeting the mysterious groom to be. She’s in business with the rich merchant Edgar Morgrin, a loyal and influential man.
#102 - Assadora, The former prostitute (personaggio interpretato da V. K.)
Motto: There's armored skins for which contempt is not vengeance anymore.
Teaser: A brass collar weighs as much as a boulder. A damned past burdens even more. Born in Lorath under the sign of slavery, Assadora soon tasted the violence form a man’s hand and the pain of rape from a father. She ran away from her home, never looking back, no hopes for the future. She arrived in Pentos and there she learned the art of seduction and the hard life of a brothel. Lyseniana was her teacher who passed on the ancient art of mixing sweat and fluids, and the same precision to use in distilling illicit substances: alchemy. Then, a merchant bought her to bring her along in her travels. Assadora felt like a ship that leaves shore and takes the high sea. Her skin like a billowing sail, pushed to the west by the winds of vengeance. Assadora will fly gracefully, will charm men with the movement of her hips and she’ll make herself poisonous lieke a spider, if she’ll need it.
Legami: When she thought she didn’t have any more hope in the world, Brella Oss got her under her wings. She not only found a mistress, but also a friend. During the trip, she got closer to Seban, because their past looks similar. Finding your own among the rich and powerful might be the only hope against feeling lost and hopeless. Even if Beqqo seems to be very keen on her, Assadora only has eyes for Horeo Jafah. He always seems so distant and unattainable, always wrapped up in his sense of duty of his mistress. She spoke to Brown Lizard about dishes and liqueurs made with spices he was intrigued by.
#107 - Lady Tyrissa, The Red Shadow (personaggio interpretato da L. H.)
Motto: When the stars bleed and the cold breath of darkness falls heavy on the world, in this dread hour Azor Ahai shall rise from fire and salt, to wake the dragons from stone. Provenienza: International - Gruppo: Free Cities - I viaggiatori delle Città Libere - Genere: female - Età dell'interprete: any age
Teaser: From the far East, to the far West, only one thing is certain: the Lord of the Light will soon come back. Her eyes have seen it in the blaze of a thousand sacrifices, in the revealed prophecies, in the fervor of the new disciples. And the Lord talked to her and commanded, and His servant obeys.
Something that eludes the inattentive eyes of the world will come to Summerhall, something she had the honor of seeing, and what many have doubted will be finally revealed.
Legami: Her guard and cult brother is Lysillo of Pentos, and she knows she can trust him completely. She has had contact with Qoren Martell. She thinks the performers are good followers of R’hllor, despite everything. She knows the name of Norenno Maegyr, even if she despises his past and his lack of faith. She’s had to do with Kinvar in the past. She’s got a feeling about Lord Lewyn Martell, with whom she exchanges letters, and a few months ago even visited at Piazza de Sole. She convinced Jaena to join the cult, but that ungrateful woman betrayed her trust. She’s known Harlen di Lys for a long time.
#110 - Qotho, The musician (personaggio interpretato da F. D.)
Motto: How many men know the difference between suffering from an obsession and choosing a destiny?
Teaser: Music goes beyond ideas for Qotho. Like a divine principle, music could keep existing even if the world ended. Music is like and ancient magic: more powerful and more penetrating than the current one because this one conveys only the shadow, while the first expresses the essence itself. Qotho knows that music is a universal language, akin to the way some ministers say they can speak to the hearts of the people. Music is a religion and Qotho loses himself in it.
Legami: The traveling troupe he performs with was hired by Alia Deem and Brella Oss as a wedding gift that will take place at Summerhall. The two patrons don’t really like each other, but the pay is conspicuous and certain. Her fellow performers seem reliable and pleasant, even if Nymerianna, a hotshot, has often started fights with those patrons who were less munificent after their shows. Rhialta Vance seems to consider her grace and beauty to be a curse. She confessed that putting attention on herself makes her extremely uncomfortable, but dancing is the only thing she can do. Lastly, Ricasso, despite his scar, is able to lift everyone’s spirits with his jokes, his rhymes and his pantomimes.
#112 - Ricasso, The branded jester (personaggio interpretato da M. C.)
Motto: Once you believed in yourself. You believed you were beutiful and so did the rest of the world. Provenienza: International - Gruppo: Free Cities - I viaggiatori delle Città Libere - Genere: male - Età dell'interprete: any age - Consigli: Consigliato ad un giocatore disposto ad applicarsi una cicatrice in faccia
Teaser: The world if full of strange people. And then there’s Ricasso: cheerful, loud, cocky, then quickly serious, deep and impenetrable. Some people say many reside inside him, others think he’s just crazy. And yet logic he has, and so spirit and intellect. He can converse pleasantly yet babble confused phrases, he can tell stories for the ages but forget the ending a moment later. The only thing that remains certain of him is his scar. It’s told he could never kiss a woman, not even a prostitute, for his mark is too repulsive. And if anyone asked how he got that, he’d reply it’s always been there: ‘I belong to my brother, this is his mark’.
Qotho, even if he never stops singing, is a sensitive man who’s capable of understanding people’s feelings with a simple look. Rhialta Vance seems to consider her grace and beauty to be a curse. She confessed that putting attention on herself makes her extremely uncomfortable, but dancing is the only thing she can do. A long time ago, he knew a boy named Kinvar.
#113 - Ayht Xaxon, The resentful Sorcerer (personaggio interpretato da L. H.)
Motto: It is by will alone one can wield Magic. It is by the Shade-of-the-Evening that thoughts acquire power, the lips acquire stains, the stains become a warning. It is by will alone one can wield Magic. Provenienza: International - Gruppo: Free Cities - I viaggiatori delle Città Libere - Genere: male - Età dell'interprete: qualsiasi - any age - Archetipi: (clicca per descrizione) Poteri mistici, Alchimista - Arcane powers, Alchemist
Teaser: For centuries, after the Doom of Valyria, the House of the Undying has strived to keep alight in the world what Magic was left. Now some of the embers have been rekindled under the ashes, but the cost has been great: the House itself has burned, many of Ayht Xaxon's peers and betters have perished; it is by mere chance that he still lives, and he still bears the marks from the flames. Now his order needs Magic even more; and now more embers are going to be rekindled far away in the West... He will not fail to be there; he can't allow another fire to be set alight by fools who can't control it, lest either it be smothered, or allowed to burn too wild.
Legami: Fellow in the Arcane Arts of Ydlyn Iyidae, who acts as his assistant. Knows Norenno Maegyr, who contacted him for journeying West together. He requested the group to hire a bodyguard for the journey; he's a bit unsure about the guard being a woman, but she looks tough. He'd heard about Illyrio Mopatis, a powerful man in the West; would he be a possible ally, could he be an obstacle? His guards are not to be underestimated - though the Unsullied's strength is in numbers. Lysillo of Pentos could be a good ally, providing his fanatism doesn't prevent him from recognising Ayht is the real expert. Theynian Fyo is one of the richest and most influential men in Qarth; their agendas certainly widely agree, though perhaps not completely. If things get rough, the help of Laswell Peake and his sellswords could be useful; would Theynian be willing to fund their hiring?
#114 - Ydlyn Iyidae, The shrewd Sorceress (personaggio interpretato da L. T.)
Motto: Don't leave a flame burn unattended. Do not attend a fire if you are drunk. Provenienza: International - Gruppo: Free Cities - I viaggiatori delle Città Libere - Genere: female - Età dell'interprete: qualsiasi - any age - Archetipi: (clicca per descrizione) Poteri mistici - Arcane powers
Teaser: For centuries, after the Doom of Valyria, the House of the Undying has strived to keep alight in the world what Magic was left. Now that some of the embers have been rekindled under the ashes, the House itself has burned, and all Ydlyn Iyidae's elders with it. Now her order needs Magic even more; and now more embers are going to be rekindled far away in the west... Her fellow Sorcerer has been dispatched there, and she has been sent to assist him in his mission. He won't allow another fire to be set alight by fools who can't control it; and maybe she should take care he doesn't get burned himself like the others did.
Legami: Fellow in the Arcane Arts of Ayht Xaxon, who she accompanies and assists. Knows Norenno Maegyr, who contacted her for journeying West together. She suggested the group would hire a bodyguard for the journey, and approved the choice of Revyz. She'd heard about Illyrio Mopatis, a powerful man in the West; he could he be an obstacle if his agenda is at odds with theirs, but does it necessarily have to be? His servant Lalaina is a smart one, maybe more than her master. Has a feeling she and Quill Volentin could find they're in agreement. Tyrissa could be a good ally (providing her fanatism doesn't make her unreasonable). Theynian Fyo is one of the richest and most influential men in Qarth; their agendas certainly widely agree, though perhaps not completely.
#115 - Norenno Maegyr, The sage, expert about Valyria (personaggio interpretato da C. L.)
Motto: Lore cannot be handed down, it can only be preserved. Provenienza: International - Gruppo: Free Cities - I viaggiatori delle Città Libere - Genere: male - Età dell'interprete: qualsiasi - any age - Consigli: Preferably, the player should be able to speak both decent English and a little Italian. The Character has a cripple leg. - Archetipi: (clicca per descrizione) Alchimista - Alchemist
Teaser: The sunlight that in these days of travel is lighting up Norenno's sky is something unusual for him, accustomed to prefer the glow of a candle or a lamp. Or the light of the knowledge guarded through years and years of jealous readings in the library of Volantis, one of the oldest and grandest. And certainly one of the better stocked with a certain type of tomes. Histories of ancient empires, founded on the power of dragons, tales of the time when Magic was the greatest power. He alone was able to access these rarities and despite the frequent letters received by the most influential scholars and Maesters, he alone is still keeping their secrets.
Therefore, they could not turn but to him, those noble families who have decided to reconstruct the ancient manor of Summerhall, because his advice is worth more than gold. He may be old and his legs no more so nimble, but the lure of that castle was too strong even for him. Every secret has within itself the key to be revealed, but only to those who hold the right lockpick.
Legami: He had study contacts with many of the scholars present, from Marwyn the Mage to Ser Gunthor Hightower, all surely envious of his knowledge and longing to have him shell out some. He was contacted by both the Martells in the person of Lady Arianne Martell and the Tyrells through Lady Aemma Tyrell to help them unlock the secrets of the castle. It was he who contacted the wayfarers from Qarth (Ayht Xaxon, Ydlyn Iyidae, Theynian Fyo with their servants and hirelings) and brought the party together; indeed he considers them very expert, though obviously not on his level. For many years he hosted Lady Tiana Martell in Volantis, teaching her all he knew about history and alchemy. Melian was a very young and curious girl when he met her; he introduced her to the mysteries and beauty of knowledge and studies, and provided her with the first books she read from the Library of Volantis. Turenvyse is his most trusted assistant and helper.
#116 - Turenvyse, The skilled assistant (personaggio interpretato da C. A.)
Motto: ...and a spot of vitriol! (aha, I knew it'd be a good idea...) Provenienza: International - Gruppo: Free Cities - I viaggiatori delle Città Libere - Genere: female - Età dell'interprete: qualsiasi - any age - Consigli: Preferably, shoud have a slave's tattoo on her face (does not need to be cospicuous) - Archetipi: (clicca per descrizione) Alchimista, Cerusica - Alchemist, Healer
Teaser: A good servant is as valuable as gold, and a good master is as precious as gemstones. The best servant is the one who knows and does what the master wants, being like his own eyes, hands and head; and a good master is the one who needs exactly what you like to do, and has you do it. Turenvyse may be not as knowledgeable as her master is, but is as clever and as skilful in everything that matters, be it taking care of the most delicate tasks or assisting him to contrive wonders in the laboratory - or making sure that, while pondering deep and arcane questions, he doesn't overlook some practical details. Ultimately, everyone must serve, and no one's really free. The real difference between being a slave and being free? No one's a slave who can do what they likes to do most of their time.
Legami: In service of Norenno Maegyr; while working with him, she also met some of his students, among which Melian and Tiana Martell. Not long ago she'd hired Revyz to escort Tiana on a visit to the ruins of Sar Mell; when the sorceress Ydlyn and her fellow Ayht suggested that the group should hire a bodyguard before travelling West, she contacted Revyz again. The merchant Alia Deem deals in all sorts of exotic spices - should Turenvyse and her master need something special, she could be the first one they could ask to. The sellsword Oggo also seems inclined to accept a private hire, should they need some other henchman. Years ago, she knew Corren Goodbutter; a weird man, but quite wise in the Art; Guwyn, whom she met once in Pentos, is also very skilled, but not as wise. Once a Rhoynar lady bought some rare substances from her; in another occasion, she sold some philtres of seduction to the spoiled daughter of some Westerosi merchant.
#117 - Theynian Fyo, The Merchant Exotic (personaggio interpretato da D. S.)
Motto: A Deal Is A Deal. Provenienza: International - Gruppo: Free Cities - I viaggiatori delle Città Libere - Genere: male - Età dell'interprete: qualsiasi - any age - Archetipi: (clicca per descrizione) Ricco - Wealthy
Teaser: Originally a native of Leng, he has been a citizen of Qarth for more than 20 years, yet he has not changed his manner of clothing. He still favours to wear many layers of silks and various extravagant robes, and does not bother much about the weather; he favours red and purple silks. His skin and hair are meticulously groomed, and his gaze is quite hypnotic.
A tireless traveling merchant, he is seldom to be found within the city walls. He will sell anything to anyone, buy almost anything from anyone, and trade most things with most people, as his late friend Xaro once put it. He is a sly, witty, iron-nerved, sometimes oily wheeler-dealer, and as he makes his way through the lands dealing in anything from loads of fresh manure to slaves, his eyes miss little...
Legami: Has Gaelen at his service, and is quite satisfied with her. Knows Norenno Maegyr, who contacted him for journeying West together. In business with the much wealthy merchant Edgar Morgrin, an influent and loyal man. He is a bit perplexed about seeing Illyrio Mopatis keep just a small handful of Unsullied - they're usually only found in large hosts.
#118 - Gaelen, The solicitous servant (personaggio interpretato da N. K.)
Motto: Survival is the ability to swim in strange waters Provenienza: International - Gruppo: Free Cities - I viaggiatori delle Città Libere - Genere: female - Età dell'interprete: qualsiasi - any age - Consigli: Suitable for a player who likes to meddle in other characters' plots or to have a role in things without being directly involved in the action. - Archetipi: (clicca per descrizione) Cerusico - Healer
Teaser: Sometimes you need to leave to find what you need; sometimes a foreign country offers occasions you wouldn't find at home. Like being employed in the service of such a rich and influential merchant. This not only involves a good pay and a respected house to work in, but also lots of interesting experiences, and the chance for Gaelen to see more foreign places and meet strange people as she accompanies her master in his business travels... Now, for example, they're preparing to sail for yet further West - all the way to Westeros. How else could she have managed to reach such exotic, faraway country? She looks forward to meet the people there, and she's sure the voyage will be a most useful experience.
Legami: In the service of Theynian Fyo, an excellent master who always takes her along in his journeys. Illyrio Mopatis looks a merchant as wealthy and influent as her master; who knows what tales could he tell? Assadora also seems to have had a compelling past. Tyrissa and Lysillo are the first members of the notorious Red Cult she had the opportunity to meet closely; she doesn't really know much about their cult, she'd be curious to learn more. She'd never seen a show like the Mummers', in the East they do things differently... she really must learn how they do it. The wise folks Norenno, Ayht and Ydlyn are awesome: sorcery, alchemy, lore are such complicated things... luckily her master allows Gaelen time to read, otherwise she wouldn't even understand what is they do. Isn't Unwin Peake proud of his father Laswell? How many adventures could they have lived through?
#119 - Tista, The meditative warrior (personaggio interpretato da A. I.)
Motto: The sword, without thought ruling it, is futile and weak. Provenienza: International - Gruppo: Free Cities - I viaggiatori delle Città Libere - Genere: female - Età dell'interprete: any age - Archetipi: (clicca per descrizione) Cerusico - Healer
Teaser: Tista is one side of a coin. There’s her, pondering and thoughtful, and there’s her sister Miclin, impudent and passionate. Tista knows they complete each other, they balance each other out. It might be because they’ve lived their whole lives as mercenaries together, or because it’s impossible to hire one without the other, the Company calls them the “golden sisters”. Yet now, Tista wants more out of life, and as the callus on her hands grow harder on the hilt of her sword, her gaze goes to the horizon, longing, ever more often.
Legami: Theynian Fyo asked for her service to protect the group of travelers from the East; her sister accepted reluctantly, because she’s thought to be too violent and impulsive. Tista promised the merchant she’d guarantee for Miclin’s behaviour; Laswell Peake, their superior, allowed them to accept the private job. She’s intrigued by the two swordsmen from Braavos she saw train.
#120 - Unwin Peake, The charismatic son (personaggio interpretato da P. S.)
Motto: A simple man is made a great warrior by force of will. Provenienza: International - Gruppo: Free Cities - I viaggiatori delle Città Libere - Genere: male - Età dell'interprete: from 22 to 34
Teaser: It’s been a grueling life for Unwin, a life of rising at the crack of dawn for training, thankless tasks for someone as important as him, a son of a sergeant of the Golden Company. Yet now the self imposed effort and discipline are paying off. After the first assignment as deputy commander in the last campaign, it looks like everyone has finally realized his worth and his skills in battle. And now this adventure, together with his father who had never involved him in his business - travelling towards a home he’s never known, born in exile and without roots. Perhaps this is the right time to saddle up and hold the reins tight.
Legami: His father Laswell Peake has always been very protective, but despite his exuberance he’s bringing him along on this mission. He’s been through a few endeavours with Lysa Maar and Addro, the youngest soldiers of the company in Summerhall. Despite this, he’s always been entrusted with safe and boring tasks. The only one who seems to trust him is Oggo Vollf. He’s been bewitched at the sight of Brella Oss.
#121 - Laswell Peake, The exiled sergeant (personaggio interpretato da m. m.)
Motto: There have been men who, in sweat and blood and fear, had the fortune of believing and fighting for the Golden Company. Provenienza: International - Gruppo: Free Cities - I viaggiatori delle Città Libere - Genere: male - Età dell'interprete: 30 or more
Teaser: The Golden Company: a small army, better trained, richer and more powerful than any other band of mercenaries on this side of the Narrow Sea. Where power and ambitious lies, there goes the Company: it has always abided by their contracts, a sort of honored tradition that guarantees the best wages and the best conditions. History wants the Company on the Western continent again, to claim what many a soldier lost, bastard sons or defeated heirs, soldiers like Laswell who fought on the wrong side of the great rebellions of the past.
Only one thing is for certain: with the Company under his command, what seems like a simple business trip might turn into a more stable permanence.
Legami: He is assisted for the first time by his son Unwin Peake; he thinks it’s time for him to become a man and face life. He’s got all the men of the Golden Army under his command. He doesn’t really trust anyone, aside from Lysa Maar: she’s always been working for the Company, and her strange congeniality has always been appreciated by the veteran. He has kept in touch with Ser Manfred Dondarrion and he hopes he’ll be able to help him in his endeavour. In the past, he’s met Emer Taler and liked him right away: he commands his labourers the same way he does with his soldiers. Three-legs Yajes is a valiant mercenary, a former captain in the Golden Company; Laswell was under his command until Yajes decided to leave the Company and right hand Warrek also known as the Bastard Stallion of Mereen; Laswell was promoted after that. When winter started, he bought a fur coat from Belario: it’s good and warm, but the merchant insisted it was a much higher value.
#122 - Garrar the eunuch, The former Gladiator from the East (personaggio interpretato da K. G.)
Motto: Fear what you control not, since anything is safe only if you hold it tight in the palm of your hand. Provenienza: International - Gruppo: Free Cities - I viaggiatori delle Città Libere - Genere: male - Età dell'interprete: qualsiasi - any age - Archetipi: (clicca per descrizione) Tenace - Tough
Teaser: Five times alive, five times hailed by the madding crowd of the pits of Meereen, when he still had the power to give death or freedom. Five like the fingers of one hand, the one that has always pulled him out of trouble. A strong guy, looking for trouble, troublemaker, unfaithful and eunuch. It was natural for him to end up surrounded by people of his ilk. The thought of the Western continent, then, only adds to the thrill in his hands, which he thinks will not stay empty for much longer. And being second in command, after all, should mean something.
Legami: He's always hanged around shady or disreputable fellows such as Oggo Vollf and Golden Marg. It seems to him he 's already seen Yellow Dog somewhere and can't wait to have a chat with him. He has always respected Laswell Peake's orders even though he's never liked his way of doing things. Considers Addro a savage and has already taunted him multiple times. Yajes Three Legs is a talented sellsword who served several years in the Golden Company as Company Commander; they appreciate each other, but are not friends. Warrek, the bastard Stallion of Meereen, was one of the few warriors of Meereen to gain freedom from very young; they appreciate each other, but are not friends. Revyz of the Two Blades was also a pit fighter; he'd not seen her since he'd left Meereen.
#123 - Oggo Vollf, The sly mercenary (personaggio interpretato da T. B.)
Motto: If you think you're one step ahead of me, you've miscalculated my skills... Provenienza: International - Gruppo: Free Cities - I viaggiatori delle Città Libere - Genere: male - Età dell'interprete: any age
Teaser: When he was young, he passed the time showing off his abilities with the sword, with wine and women; then he realized all that was predictable and trivial, so he chose the way of cunning… But he didn’t feel like putting his effort in only one thing. In the end, he enlisted with the Golden Company: live adventures, see the world, and perhaps even have the chance to try his own luck, when he’s off official work… Exactly the type of life that suits him. Swordsman, scoundrel and soldier: three for one!
Legami: He’s friends with Marg the Golden. He knows Enrio and Iorio from his time in Braavos. Some years ago they challenged Three-legs Yajes, a valiant mercenary and former captain of the Golden Company; it was only thanks to his intervention that Yajes didn’t kill them both, and only left them with permanent reminders on their bodies. Years ago, he has worked for Thorar Vassel and Alia Deem in a few occasions. Lysa Maar is another sly person, but unfortunately she seems not to trust him that much anymore… if she doesn’t like Oggo’s ways, she can do it herself.
