Personaggi visualizzati: 2
#55 - Celia Armitage, Professor of Drama (Organizer NPC) (Character played by F. C.)
Club or Secret Society: Faction Professors and university staff - Faculty: Professors - Gender: woman - Player's Age: any - Advices: VILLA - this character sleeps in the Villa, with camping bed and sleeping bag
Teaser: Very famous for her successes in Hollywood as a child actress, Armitage was a film star until the age of twelve. After that, she moved from one acting school to another and devoted herself to theatre in its most classical form, until she came to Devington as a teacher. Traditionalist and rule-abiding, she often appears rather focused on technique and formal precision, and disinclined to encourage the unbridled talent and flair of her students. She has the academic approach of the old actresses, while belonging to a much more modern era, and seems to have constructed an impeccable persona around herself -- perhaps hiding a flawed person. It is hard to say what lies beyond the surface.
She incentivises and rewards the most serious and diligent students, while relegating the lazy and uncommitted to secondary roles.
Relations: You should be enjoying the company of D. Jennings, but they understands little about artistic expression. Not everything should be created in a random burst of inspiration.
You get along well with K. Holland and R. Dixon: although no one admits it, those who teach extracurricular classes are a step lower in the teachers' pecking order. That is why you have to team up.
#56 - Kirsten Holland, Professor of Music (Organizer NPC) (Character played by C. C.)
Club or Secret Society: Faction Professors and university staff - Faculty: Professors - Gender: woman - Player's Age: any - Advices: VILLA - this character sleeps in the Villa, with camping bed and sleeping bag
Teaser: From a very humble family, she was brought up between oratories and pastorals, and managed to enter the world of the Gifted solely through her sweetness, good character and talent. For a long time, before arriving at Devington, she conducted distinguished choirs in all parts of Great Britain - especially religious, Gregorian and medieval choirs - with moderate success. Until, at a concert, she was noticed by Dean Conway, then a simple teacher, who used his influence in the university to get her hired. It was a revelatory moment.
Her background and history led Holland to believe that music had a saving power. There is nothing that gets to the core of feelings like a note, a harmony. If outside her lessons she comes across as gentle, meek and a little insecure, she changes radically when it is time to conduct the choir. She takes great care of her students - especially those who have difficulty expressing themselves - and what better medium than music? Besides, as she always repeats: you can't go wrong if you put your heart into it.
Relations: S. Finnemore seems to believe there is something mystical about the way you think about music.
You get along well with C. Armitage and R. Dixon: although no one admits it, those who teach extracurricular classes are a step lower in the teachers' pecking order. That is why you have to team up.
