#1 - Elrima, The clan chief's wife (Character played by V. K.)
Motto: It is better to die free than to live as a slave Origin: Free Folk - Group: Free Folk - Gender: female - Player's Age: 30 or more
Teaser: She never stopped fighting to ensure the safety of her comrades, before as loyal clan chief's wife, now as a leader. As every woman of the free folk she always shows a great fierceness and is not afraid of facing who claims titles higher or undertakings bigger than hers. To Elrima, traditions have always meant everything, but now that the burden of command is on her she asks herself which is the better choice for everybody. Freedom is the biggest treasure, but what good it is being free if this choice could bring all of them to death?
Relations: She is the leader of the survivors' group. Among them there are her sister Seryme and her daughter Yrlin. She has great affection for Nethe, who has always been loyal to her. Jallen joined the clan recently, he's a Crow who abandoned the black and Elrima hopes it wasn't a mistake to accept him in her clan. Omi is in bad light in the clan since he joined. However, you trust his blade.
#2 - Nethe, The loyal one (Character played by L. H.)
Motto: Never give your trust, lend it Origin: Free Folk - Group: Free Folk - Gender: female - Player's Age: any age
Teaser: Nethe has always been someone that cared for the needs of the others, always ready to listen and give advice when necessary. Since many years she is the closest one to the chiefs of the village and as such she knows many secrets ignored by most. In time she showed blind trust in the choices and actions of the tribe leaders. Some are wondering if this is unconditioned loyalty, or rather a mask in order to obtain some kind of advantage. How much is the trust of a person worth?
Relations: She has always been loyal to Elrima, guide of the clan. Since a while she feels attracted by Styrdel's attentions, and this Munwen does not like it. Alvar, brother of Nethe, recently seems nervous and impatient, while he usually was, as counselor, calm and composed.
#3 - Seryme, The huntress (Character played by e. c.)
Motto: Nothing escapes my arrow, nothing escapes my eye Origin: Free Folk - Group: Free Folk - Gender: female - Player's Age: any age - Advices: uses bow and arrows
Teaser: Watchful and determined, Seryme has always been one of the best clan huntress. She knows perfectly where and when to hunt, and no prey can escape her unfailing aim. She is proud and brave, and she knows when to take drastic decisions to help her people. Unfortunately who should be the head and the heart of her community often lacks this ability. Maybe there's need for a change, someone who knows how to better weigh risks and opportunities, and Seryme would very well know how.
Relations: Elrima is her sister. Yrlin is Seryme's niece and Elrima's daugther: she is a rebel girl, but Seryme has a good relationship with her and teaches her how to hunt and fight. Bjoramyr is her husband, a strong and mighty man.
#4 - Yrlin, The Chieftain's daughter (Character played by B. B.)
Motto: The freedom to be wrong is what I always wanted. Origin: Free Folk - Group: Free Folk - Gender: female - Player's Age: 23 or less
Teaser: When the world crashes under your feet it is easy to misinterpret and not understand the actions of people around you. And if it happens when you're young the risk is even worse.
Yrin is the youngest of the group, and her hunger for indipendence shows up in verbal and physical fights become every day more frequent. Yrlin is indipendent, rebellious, and she has always been that way. She is also the chieftain's daughter and she has always accepted the consequences of her actions. A scar is a sign of pride and fierceness, and it is better to gain a bad wound than quietly obey someone else's orders. Isn't this freedom?
Relations: Since her mother, Elrima, has taken the leadership, tension has been growing. She has great respect for her aunt, Seryme, and her warlike behaviour. She is impressed by Ingir's skills, and she has built a strong friendship with him. Dreki treats her well, but she doesn't know why.
#5 - Shatar, The wise woman (Character played by D. M.)
Motto: Knowledge is Power, and Power will set you free Origin: Free Folk - Group: Free Folk - Gender: female - Player's Age: 30 or more - Advices: The player should be over 40, and/or wear make-up and wig to appear like an old woman - Archetypes: Healer
Teaser: Known and respected by the whole clan, Shatar was among the first to understand that an alliance with the Crows would have been of utmost strategic significance: nonetheless, she stayed behind with those who chose to fight the cold and its dangers, as their only leader and counselor.
She is a charismatic and far-sighted woman, as well as a skilled surgeon, and thus many would have preferred her as a chief: after the parting from the rest of the Clan, everyone turns to the wise Shatar for advice and to address doubts and omens.
Relations:
Elrima was the chief's wife and now leads what is left of them.
Yrlin is Elrima's young daughter and is rebellious and aggressive. Shatar would like to be closer to her and lead her in this hard situation.
In her life Shatar taught many: among them, the best were Munwen, who became a renowned healer, and Ingir, who is haunted by strange visions. She takes pity on Dragr's situation, and would like to help him find a solution.
#6 - Kyrlin, The traveller (Character played by A. I.)
Motto: The north wind blows through my hair and pushes me to faraway lands Origin: Free Folk - Group: Free Folk - Gender: female - Player's Age: any age - Advices: uses bow and arrows - Archetypes: healer
Teaser: Kyrlin visited every place in the North, there is no river, forest, hill or clear she hasn't explored. She met many different clans, but she has always been loyal to her people. There was no reason to doubt her, despite her long absences and prolongued trips. When people from the Clan ask her questions, she always leaves a shade of mistery in her accounts, and no one knows if what she tells is true, or just a lie. Travelling alone, she learned how to stitch wounds and cure minor illnesses, and thanks to her skills with the bow she always knows how to feed herself.
Relations: Munwen was Kyrlin's best friend, but now they almost don't speak to one another because of Styrdel the bard. Kefire has been accused of theft, but in Kyrlin's opinion she might be innocent. In her travels she met many people, and sometimes she remembers their faces or their names, as for Weslar and Rick, two Crows. Jallen joined the clan recently, and once he was a Crow too.
#7 - Munwen, The healer (Character played by G. C.)
Motto: The northern forest hides secrets that only the wise can reveal Origin: Free Folk - Group: Free Folk - Gender: female - Player's Age: any age - Archetypes: healer
Teaser: Someone would call her a naïve dreamer, sometimes lost in her thoughts, yet Munwen is a strong and tenacious woman, forged by the cold North and by so many battles. She excels in the knowledge of herbs and other substances with which she prepares ointments and balms that have repeatedly saved the lives of members of the Clan. She is held in high regard by everyone and is esteemed by the Clan Chief. Lately she can be seen wandering around with an absent-minded, weird look.
Relations: Shatar is the wise woman of the clan and has taught Munwen the art of herbs and the properties of berries and roots. Kyrlin was Munwen's best friend, but the two strongly argued about Styrdel the bard. Nethe is loyal to Elrima, the leader of the clan, but is also tremendously prone to meddle.
Kefire always takes advantage of everyone, she cannot be trusted. Dragr has always been a talented fighter but recently he alternates attacks of madness and confusion with moments of lucidity; Munwen does not really know how to help him.
#8 - Kefire, The ruthless survivor (Character played by C. B.)
Motto: No matter what they think of me, my spirit is untamed and my heart yearns for victory Origin: Free Folk - Group: Free Folk - Gender: female - Player's Age: any age
Teaser: They denigrate her, avoid her, treat her with contempt, but she doesn't care. Her past doesn't matter, the future matters, and Kefire knows well how to prepare for the fatal events to come. She doesn't fear anything and will not be caught off-guard. She is a stubborn and tenacious woman, a strong, reckless warrior, and that is enough to be part of the Clan, specially in this moment of division and vulnerability . And she knows it well.
Relations: Some time ago Styrdel the bard called Kefire a thief in front of everyone and Munwen, the healer of the clan who supports him on every occasion, continued the offenses. Nethe is too arrogant, specially now that she became the advisor of Elrima, the chief's wife. Kyrlin and Draki are valiant members of the clan and their company is pleasant. Jallen recently joined the clan. He was a former Crow, but Kefire likes him and knows what it means to be surrounded by people who do not trust you, so they became friends.
#9 - Ingir, The seer (Character played by J. C.)
Motto: Dreams and prophecies are but traces of those able to see beyond the veil Origin: Free Folk - Group: Free Folk - Gender: male - Player's Age: 30 or less
Teaser: Many fear him – as they do not understand him. Many say he was bestowed with his “gift” by some forest witch, and respect him. Others simply think he is crazy, and don't care. Still, Ingir’s dreams often come true, and some would swear he is the one that fullfils his own prophecies. And yet, omens of some imminent destiny and of a yet-unknown truth often leak from his tales. Lately, nightmares have been plaguing him: he often awakes screaming in the middle of the night, but he will not tell anyone what lives in those dreams.
Relations: Shatar took care of Ingir since he was a little boy. The chief’s daughter, Yrlin, is a dear friend to him, whilst his mother Elrima, the clan’s leader, is wise and reliable, yet perhaps too much of a diplomat. A few days ago, Ingir saw a woman from the Free Folk travel northbound surrounded by black cloaks.
#10 - Styrdel, The Bard (Character played by D. U.)
Motto: Without music, life would be a mistake. Origin: Free Folk - Group: Free Folk - Gender: male - Player's Age: 30 or less
Teaser: Some people would say he is a man with many faces. In his group many find him a weasel, maybe because of his attitude around women, but just a few people would have the guts to confront him. He’s opinionated and when he has a goal in mind there’s nothing that can distract him. Music and tales are his best tools and he can always count on them to seduce and to charm someone. Styrdel can be sardonic and bitter, as well as rational and accomodating, if this can be useful to achieve his goals.
Relations: Some people say he has an affair with Munwen. However, he has recently become closer to Nethe, so there are doubts about the affair. Elrima is the clan's guide and she doesn’t seem to like the amount of time that the bard spends with her dear friend. On the other hand Styrdel doesn't like Elrima as clan’s chief, specially in these hard times. Some time ago he accused Kefire of stealing, and from that day she hates him, just because he told the truth about her to the clan: this is ridiculous!
#11 - Bjoramyr, The unsatisfied warrior (Character played by R. C.)
Motto: Think that everyone wants to hit you Origin: Free Folk - Group: Free Folk - Gender: male - Player's Age: 25 or more
Teaser: Bjoramir: the perfect Wildling. Proud, strong, rude and cruel towards his enemies. A warrior who does not seem to have weak points at all, except the ones he imposes himself.
White shadows have deeply influenced his personality, undermining his strong roots. He often doubts about his and other people's decisions. Strenght is not always the best answer, specially when the enemy is undefeatable. What to do when certainty melts away like snow in the sun?
Relations: He is married to Seryme, the only one who can hold him in the team and calm him down when he loses it. Before going mad, Dragr was his close friend, the companion of thousands of battles and adventures. For Bjoramyr it is painful to see that his friend is not himself most of the time. Recently Alvar asked him to be trained in the art of the sword. The newcomer, Jallen Oldflowers, is a good mate, maybe a friend. Despite their dissimilarities, he fancies him.
#12 - Dragr, The mad one (Character played by J. G.)
Motto: Courage and madness are close relatives Origin: Free Folk - Group: Free Folk - Gender: male - Player's Age: any age
Teaser: Few care for the reason of his madness. Dragr has alway been a trustful person, always in first line defending the village, in hunts, in fights. All of his life he showed bravery and strength in every action, and the count of the Crows he killed is legendary. Maybe this is the reason why his friends are not leaving him, despite his more and more frequent crises. The past Dragr, reliable and unwavering, is just a shadow, replaced by a mad man, with mood swings, amnesia, or memories of things that never happened. Nobody knows what made him lose his mind, what happened to a person always aware of everything and so able to understand other people? Most of all, it is unknown whether it is possible to come back from this madness, or if everything is going to get worse.
Relations: His madness has brought many people to distance themselves from him, except for his wife Bergvin, who can't hide her concern. Munwen is looking for a cure, unsuccesfully. Shatar talks to him hoping to find out what happened, but she seems to be more and more convinced that there is nothing left to do. Above all, Bjoramyr has always been his friend, although it seems to have substituted him with the newcomer Jallen. Elrima, now leader of the clan, doensn't want to abandon him as many would do. For this reason he often tries to speak to her and help her as much as he can. Recently Alvar asked him to be trained in the art of the sword.
#13 - Val, The “Wildling Princess” (Character played by M. F.)
Motto: Whaddya think you know, you Crows? Origin: Night's Watch - Group: Night's Watch - Gender: female - Player's Age: 35 or less - Archetypes: healer
Teaser: Val is not a wee Southron Lady, but a woman of the Free Folk: she knows the forest better than any of those black-clothed rangers. Now trusting the Black Crows is hard, but if Jon Snow has gained the respect of Mance Rayder, he is also worthy of Val’s. And Jon Snow was right, when he sent her with this squad of Crows: without her as a guide, they wouldn’t even know where their arse is. The biggest challenge in the lands of the Free Folk, her people, is to find a way to live with the Night’s Watch and to be able to fully trust each other: a not at all granted venture.
Relations: On Jon Snow’s request, she is under August's command, but she hopes he’s willing to follow some advice. Finnegan is a well known ranger, an old enemy. The others will have the respect – or the disrespect – they will deserve… to be honest, actually some of them are kind of cute. She looks at Dorrick in an enigmatic way. She knew Dreki in the past, but she doesn't know what happened to him.
#14 - August Glover, The head of the expedition (Character played by J. M.)
Motto: Compassion is the first step towards understanding Origin: Night's Watch - Group: Night's Watch - Gender: male - Player's Age: any age
Teaser: August took his oath a few months ago, but he climbed the ladder in the Night Watch's hierarchy really fast: his high values and his trust in other people conquered Jon Snow's unconditioned trust. For this reason the Lord Commander decided to entrust him with guiding one of the most important expeditions ever: retrieving the dragonglass is of utmost importance, and August will do anything to ensure that the mission is completed and that his authority is respected. He is the right man for the job, but not everyone is sure of this.
Relations: August knows he can count on the unconditioned support of Rick Snow, and trusts him completely, as well as Alliser and Gregor, whose counsel he often seeks. He doesn't know well many members of the expedition he leads, but he is sure he will not be able to have a good night's sleep as long as Ser Finnegan Tully will continue to doubt him. August is also worried about Darreth Orme, who hasn't yet proved himself worth of the mission: he is a good guy, but without August's help he would be lost. He asks himself if it was a good idea to bring Vaessa Velaryon with them. He is still uncertain about Val, but there is little time left to decide whether to trust her or not.
#15 - Ser Finnegan Tully, The experienced ranger (Character played by m. d.)
Motto: Come on, stray dogs! If you don’t get a move on I’ll kill you before the wildlings do, and I will not be as courteous! Origin: Night's Watch - Group: Night's Watch - Gender: male - Player's Age: 30 or more
Teaser: Sir Finnegan is undoubtedly one of the best living rangers: he has ridden beyond the Wall for more than a decade, and under his guidance very few missions have failed.
As befits a ranger with noble lineage, Finnegan had always been leader of some squad, until the Starks’bastard took everything away from him: respect, power and honor.
With just one single order, Lord Commander Jon Snow was able to mortify him, putting in charge that little boy, August Glover, who can boast perhaps half of his talents.
Surely the Obsidian is the priority, but Finnegan is sure that he will be able to come back with more than one victory in his pocket.
Relations: An experienced ranger can easily distinguish a skilled ranger from an unfit one, and for this reason Finnegan despises August Glover even more: that presumptuous kid didn’t even know how to choose suitable companions for this expedition: scum like Darreth Orme or Ser Osney are just a burden, and dragging them around is demanding a growing effort. Luckily, not everyone is a complete idiot, and people such as Weslar Peckledon has a clear idea of how the chain of command should be and Prestan Swygert knows how to cope with every situation and is also a fair sawbones. Finnegan is often friendly with him. Some dandies mistrust him because he's a scoundrel, but still...
#16 - Rick Snow, The Commander's best friend (Character played by C. T.)
Motto: I'll be up to this! Origin: Night's Watch - Group: Night's Watch - Gender: male - Player's Age: 25 or more
Teaser: Rick lived in Winterfell when it was still ruled by the Starks: he had the luck of fencing with Robb, sometimes, and also with Jon Snow.
When the downfall for the Northern wolves came, the young man became homeless, and Castle Black felt like a good place to make himself useful.
Thus his watch began, during the Black Brothers' darkest times.
Rick is a good-natured and accommodating person, who has earned the trust of many, and with good reason: he has established a steady friendship with August Glover, now leader of the expedition, and he has every intention to prove himself and to show himself trustworthy, ready to give himself up so as not to disappoint those who rely on him.
Relations: His kind and friendly nature helped Rick to make friends with most of his companions. First of all August Glover, the leader of the mission, which now considers him his right-hand man and has the respect of the young lad.
He believes that Ser Finnegan's attitude is a very dangerous one, in such a risky situation, and he does everything to prevent any escalation. He knows he can count on Darren and Alliser, trusted and steady men.
He’s interested in Dorrick and in his knowledge: many don’t appreciate the usefulness of an educated person, but Rick certainly does.
Ser Osney Kettleblack is nice and they often chatted; moreover, he clearly needs a good friend and Rick doesn’t mind watching his back.
#17 - Darreth Orme, The brave cadet (Character played by A. F.)
Motto: My Mama always said you have to do the best with what the Gods gave you. Origin: Night's Watch - Group: Night's Watch - Gender: male - Player's Age: 35 or less
Teaser: Growing up in a Noble House means great honours, but even greater responsibilities: for a first-born there is a duty to the House itself, but a cadet son can put his honour and his weapons to the service of greater ideals. There's only so much fortune a man really needs and the rest is just for showing off; so, it is worth to leave the past behind you and move on… in order to be the sword in the darkness, the watcher on the walls, the shield that guards all the Seven Kingdoms.
Relations: August is the head of the expedition, but Sir Finnegan is very experienced too: definitely both of them are people to listen to. He’d met Alliser when he was working at the forge as a Builder, but he’s a Ranger too instead, who would have said that? Ser Osney seems so shy, perhaps he could need some incentive. And that woman, Val, people say that she’s a princess… she sure looks like she knows her way around. He’s undertaken to help and protect Dorrick: the knowledge of the learned ones could be as useful as a good sword, after all.
#18 - Weslar Peckledon, The noble scion (Character played by M. R.)
Motto: Wait for my father to know about this… Origin: Night's Watch - Group: Night's Watch - Gender: male - Player's Age: 35 or less
Teaser: Although Lord Peckledon is one of the prominent bannermen of the Lannister household, as his fourth son Weslar certainly could aspire neither to his father's fief nor to an important marriage. Certainly he had wealth to be squandered at will, but what he wanted was to cover himself in glory, and more worthily than in tournaments: fighting the Wildlings beyond the Wall, as a Ranger of the Night’s Watch. For a man born and raised in the South this frost is a challenge, as well as asserting himself among his black brethren. Apparently being a capable swordsman and a highborn was not enough to assure him a leading role and the respect that would be rightfully his.
Relations: August Glover is the head of the expedition, but it is crystal-clear that Ser Finnegan Tully is much more experienced – what did August have more than Weslar, then? On the other hand, Ser Osmund, Ser Osney and Ser Osfryd surely know the respect due to the highborn. Whereas Darreth Orme is one to be watched upon with a frown. And why is everyone such in awe of that Wildling, Val, just because she is the sister-in-law of a traitor? What can a woman possibly know about weapons?
#19 - Ser Osney Kettleblack, The terrified Knight (Character played by P. J.)
Motto: Not even a Queen’s thighs were worth all of this Origin: Night's Watch - Group: Night's Watch - Gender: male - Player's Age: 35 or less
Teaser: It’s a wonder Ser Osney and his brothers were allowed to take the Black: the “Hand of the Seven” don’t usually like to let sinners get away with it, expecially if the sin is as bad as laying with Queen Cersei Lannister – it could cost him his life if those religious crazies had not accepted to send Osmund, Osfryd and him to the Wall. Now they’re in the grip of frost and fear, surrounded by the bloodthirsty Wildlings, but anything was better than being the toy of those fanatics. Even this Winter that saps all one’s energies, even fierce wild beasts. Provided those tales are not true, and that there really isn’t something worse living in the midst of this snow…
Relations: Younger brother of Ser Osmund and Ser Osfryd. August Glover is in charge of the expedition, the one who is responsable for the lives of the whole party. Darreth Orme and Alliser seem to be friendly, but how can they keep their courage in the face of all these threats? Weslar Peckledon is a nobleman worthy of respect. There is only one man trying to make him comfortable, Rick Snow, who is always a welcome presence.
#20 - Prestan Swygert, The monster who thinks he's a knight (Character played by L. B.)
Motto: Not your business Origin: Night's Watch - Group: Night's Watch - Gender: male - Player's Age: any age - Archetypes: healer
Teaser: In the eyes of many, a slimy and sinister past rises from the shady glances of Prestan Swygert, who never showed any interest for the Watcher's cause...Or any other cause at all. He took the Black only to save his own life, and nobody knows what really drives his actions or what he wishes for the future. Prestan is sniffy, really good at protecting himself and surviving, and to anyone bringing up his mysterious past he answers with disregard that most of the Watchers escaped from the gallows and everyone deserves a second chance: let bygones be bygones. Who knows, maybe the snow will melt his secrets down.
Relations: Prestan is no fool: although he hates pretty much anything surrounding him, he knows he could only save his ass if his fellows shall not tear each other's throats. Therefore he staunchly tries to ease the strife between Sir Finnegan, a veteran who inexplicably treats him decently andAugust Glover, the young leader that barely seems to know which way to turn. Sandor Rivers seems to be scared by him, that's why Prestan gives him orders now and then. To his regret he is fascinated by Val, who exerts on him a magnetism that Prestan can't explain.
#21 - Sandor Rivers, The young thief from King's Landing (Character played by B. D.)
Motto: One day I will see the sun again Origin: Night's Watch - Group: Night's Watch - Gender: male - Player's Age: 25 or less
Teaser: Once Sandor was free, roaming the streets of King's Landing, squeezing through the mob without being noticed. He survived by petty theft, without caring much of the future and of what was happening outside of the city. One day, he tried to rob the wrong man, he was arrested and sent to the North, forced to take the Black and to live in the cold at the Wall. Skilled in getting by and in befriending people, his time at Castle Black hasn't been that bad. Until he was ordered to join the expedition, totally unexpectedly. However stunned, he could'nt refuse. Thus Sandor is now marching in the snow with the other brethren, dreaming of the warm southern lands and the nacre thighs of the capitol's whores. Praying for the first time in his life to the Gods, the Old and the New ones and even those he doesn't know, in order to be able to come back safe and sound.
Relations: He often scowls at Ser Osfryd Kettleback. August Glover is the leader of the expedition an Sandor trusts him, as much as he trusts anyone on which his survival beyond the Wall relies on. He fears Prestan Swygert because he is unpredictable, and for this reason he often does Prestan's bidding, for you never know. Dorrick is a good friend, and and although he is happy to have him close beyond the Wall he is also afraid he will not be able to come back. Val is a weird presencem and Sandor seems happy that she is guiding them beyond the Wall, maybe a bit too much.
#22 - Dorrick, The scholarly steward (Character played by F. T.)
Motto: The hand wields the blade, but it is knowledge that guides it Origin: Night's Watch - Group: Night's Watch - Gender: male - Player's Age: 30 or less - Archetypes: healer
Teaser: If one has to die, better to face it with with a full belly, even if this means taking the Black. And if one can read, one can wear the Black even among the dustiest books, because even the Night’s Watch have Maesters, and Maesters need assistants. Dorrick’s plan seemed without risks, and indeed had worked as it should, granting him a simple and interesting life within the walls of Castle Black. But even the best plan may fail, because often it is in the wildest and most dangerous places that the skills of healers and the knowledge of scholars are most needed. Dorrick keeps repeating himself that he can survive, despite the fear and the lack of respect in his comrades’ eyes… but truly believing he can make it is entirely a different matter.
Relations: Dorrick is not a warrior, but he entrusts the swords of his comrades to protect him. For instance those of August Glover, who’s the leader of the expedition, of Ser Finnegan who’s a Ranger of great experience, or of Darreth Orme, who has been in the North for much less time, but is a formidable warrior with a noble spirit; and of course that of Ser Osmund, a Steward like you, but unlike you a Knight. Dorrick really wants to be helpful and earn their respect and esteem. But even Val, the woman of the Wildlings who guides them, would certainly fight better than him: Dorrick isn’t ashamed of being weaker than a woman – she is the Wildling Princess, while he’s not a warrior, but a Steward who spent all his life among books. He would like to talk more to her to better understand her people, the Free Folk. Sandor Rivers had a really interesting life and they talked about it a lot when he came to Castle Black; Dorrick regards him as a good friend and he is happy of having him along in this frightening adventure. Rick Snow has also been friendly since their departure, who knows why.
#23 - Ser Osfryd Kettleblack, The Knight who refuses the Black (Character played by S. T.)
Motto: The Lannisters always pay their debts? Sure, when it suits them. Origin: Night's Watch - Group: Night's Watch - Gender: male - Player's Age: any age
Teaser: Commander of King’s Landing’s Gold Cloaks: Ser Osfyrd had been appointed by the Queen herself and his service had been flawless. But when the Queen fell because of those fanatic Sparrows, he too was dismissed and arrested… and then, along with his brothers, he was sent here, to the Wall, without even a choice. It’s an injustice, especially now that he has been sent on this desperate and risky mission.
Relations: Brother of Ser Osmund and Ser Osney; August Glover is in charge of the expedition, the one who is responsible for the lives of the whole party: let’s hope he knows what he’s doing. Weslar Peckledon seems to know his stuff: everyone can see he’s not a bumpkin. Alliser was a brigand, but here that’s basically normal; he seems like a cunning person, and at Castle Black he was good company in front of a fireplace and a tankard.
#24 - Jallen Oldflowers, The freed Crow - ORGANIZERS' CHARACTER (Character played by g. g.)
Motto: Betrayal is a form of self-defense. Origin: Free Folk - Group: Free Folk - Gender: male - Player's Age: any age
Teaser: Life in the sunny upland...the strict rules of Castle Black...and not even the desolate lands north the Wall managed to pacify his temper. Despite the excellent qualities to become a brave fighter, he preferred to dedicate himself to the pleasures of life rather than to combat. He has never been a lover of order or rules to respect and despite his intemperance often caused him great trouble, he never thought about changing. What do traditions, morals and hierarchies to respect even matter? To him the only way to go is the freedom of following your own instinct. Once he left the Night's Watch, he sought his way north of the Wall, and now lives with the Free Folk, just like one of them.
Relations: Ser Finnegan Tully and August Glover have been his companions at Castle Black. When he left the Crows, Bjoramyr was one of the first to trust him and to share secrets and abilities. Kefire likes him and knows what it's like to be surrounded by people that don't trust you, so they became friends". On the contrary, Dreki doesn't like him at all.
#25 - Alliser, The Brotherhood's blacksmith - ORGANIZERS' CHARACTER (Character played by F. P.)
Motto: What you are is what you do Origin: Night's Watch - Group: Night's Watch - Gender: male - Player's Age: any age
Teaser: Alliser was a free spirit before taking the Black: for a long time he silently lived hidden in the bushes with the Brotherhood without Banners giving all himself, his skills and his own life for the cause, until an ambush put an end to his rebellion; captured and imprisoned, Alliser found himself in front of the usual and inescapable dilemma: the Wall or his head. As a ranger, he now has the respect of all his Brothers, earned with blood and sweat, in the forge just like in mission. A new life that he wouldn't have chosen if not forced to, but a life nonetheless.
Relations: Alliser seems to have gained a very important place in the expedition: August Glover has a great consideration of his way of thinking and often interrogates him before taking important decisions. Darreth Orme is an old companion from when he still worked as a builder and more than once he stopped for a tankard of beer with him, Ser Osney and Ser Osfryd. He can't stand the arrogant nobles like Weslar Peckleton and Ser Finnegan, even if he recognises the capabilities as a ranger of the last one.
#29 - Bergvin, The sleeping fury (Character played by M. C.)
Motto: I am a fury that even the Storm fears Origin: Free Folk - Group: Free Folk - Gender: female - Player's Age: any age
Teaser: Bergvin is a woman not to be messed with. It is told that her blade has cut more Crow's throats than game. Loyal to the clan and even more to her husband Dragr, she has always held high the pride banner of the Iced-river Spears. That's how her legend is, or was, told. Now she seems to be gentler and more worried. The armor of ice and pride she seemed to wear is now thinner, and makes Bergvin more vulnerable. And it is not the right time to be vulnerable at all.
Relations: Faithfull wife of Dragr, the one who became mad, and intimate friend of Hallur, the Voice of the Wind.
She feels like she owes Strydel, whom for sure saved her husband life.
Munwen, the Clan Healer, has Bergvin breathing down her neck, always pressed to find a cure for Dragr.
Alvar, the counsellor, raised her interest.
#31 - Hallur, The Voice of the Faith (Character played by J. F.)
Motto: Listen to the voice of the wind and I will lead you to your destiny! Origin: Free Folk - Group: Free Folk - Gender: unisex - Player's Age: any age
Teaser: Hallur has always said: the rustle of leaves, the sound of ice and the sing of birds are nothing more that signs that the strong souls shall read to travel the path that will lead them to the greatness. For long Hallur has been feeling that something is changing, that the usual life that all the Iced-River Spears know is over; and to ensure that they listen to their words they tell to all the Clan the truth about the Wild Woods. So far nobody ever wondered how much of this truth has been accepted in their hearth and in their soul.
Relations: Hallur knows well Strydel and in their past they shared a lot of personal thoughts. Together with Shatar they are the voice of wisdom, but while the oldest lady has a practical approach, Hallur speaks through symbols and for this reason they always listen to Ingir when he speaks about his dreams. Hallur looks at Dragr with severity wondering about his health and tries to comfort the unfortunate Bergvin, an old friend.
#36 - Vaessa Velaryon, The Red damsel (Character played by J. S.)
Motto: Dragonglass. Frozen fire, in the tongue of old Valyria. An ancient gift from the Lord of Light, it is anathema to the cold children of the Great Other Origin: Night's Watch - Group: Night's Watch - Gender: female - Player's Age: 23 or more
Teaser: A Lady of the South, waiting to the Queen, raised amidst velvet and silk, living in luxury, comfort and wealth. Coming to a rough fortress in the far North, smelling of wood smoke and tallow, had been hard; facing a journey in the wilderness, through darkness and snow, could have been unthinkable. But the Night is Dark, and Full of Terrors, and only Fire can dispel it.
Relations: You feel more at ease with highborn and sworn Knights, such as Weslar Peckledon, Darreth Orme and the Kettleblack brothers. Groleo comes from a distant country, but shares your faith, as much as Dorrick and Val do not. What is Clove doing among you?
#37 - Ser Osmund Kettleblack, The self-confident Knight (Character played by R. W.)
Motto: A Knight worthy of a King can cope with all perils Origin: Night's Watch - Group: Night's Watch - Gender: male - Player's Age: any age
Teaser: Sworn member of the Kingsuard: Ser Osmund had been appointed by the Queen herself and his service had been flawless. But when the Queen fell because of those fanatic Sparrows, he too was dismissed and arrested… and then, along with his brothers, he was sent here, to take the Black in place of the White. But there could have been worse fates.
Relations: Elder brother of Ser Osfryd and Ser Osney; August Glover and Ser Finnegan are in charge of the expedition, and as quartermaster you must refer to them. Other ones, such as Darren and Dorrick, are Stewards like you – but they are not Knights like you, nor highborn like Darreth Orme and Weslar Peckledon. Or like the charming Vaessa Velaryon.
