For centuries, after the Doom of Valyria, the House of the Undying has strived to keep alight in the world what Magic was left. Now that some of the embers have been rekindled under the ashes, the House itself has burned, and all Ydlyn Iyidae's elders with it. Now her order needs Magic even more; and now more embers are going to be rekindled far away in the west... Her fellow Sorcerer has been dispatched there, and she has been sent to assist him in his mission. He won't allow another fire to be set alight by fools who can't control it; and maybe she should take care he doesn't get burned himself like the others did.

Fellow in the Arcane Arts of Ayht Xaxon  , who she accompanies and assists. Knows Norenno Maegyr  , who contacted her for journeying West together. She suggested the group would hire a bodyguard for the journey, and approved the choice of Revyz  . She'd heard about Illyrio Mopatis  , a powerful man in the West; he could he be an obstacle if his agenda is at odds with theirs, but does it necessarily have to be? His servant Lalaina   is a smart one, maybe more than her master. Has a feeling she and Quill Volentin   could find they're in agreement. Tyrissa   could be a good ally (providing her fanatism doesn't make her unreasonable). Theynian Fyo   is one of the richest and most influential men in Qarth; their agendas certainly widely agree, though perhaps not completely.
