It’s an injustice, especially now that he has been sent on this desperate and risky mission.

Weslar Peckledon   seems to know his stuff: everyone can see he’s not a bumpkin. Alliser   was a brigand, but here that’s basically normal; he seems like a cunning person, and at Castle Black he was good company in front of a fireplace and a tankard.
