Working in the DINA is not easy for a woman. She's expected to be as capable as any man, and even more: she must be able to gain the enemies' trust, to seduce them, even to let herself be fucked in order to get the information she needs. And that's what, harshly, the Carabineros Lieutenant teaches her recruits. Frivolous, seductive, Palmira trains them to wear a mask and a life not of one's own, as if they were a second skin, without error or remorse, with the surgical coldness necessary to extract the decaying tooth that the dissidents are.
