Angèle came to Italy last year because of her love for italian literature. She loves Dante, Montale, but Pasolini more than any other: in France she saw his film Il fiore delle Mille e una notte and then red all of the books she could find of him. In Italy she also found another love, Vanessa. Their relationship started when Vanessa gave her lessons of italian language. Vanessa brought her to the marxist collective Ingranaggi Rossi, where she represents the feminist and homosexual issues. But in Italy, as in France, the bourgeoisie, the catholics and the fascists are against the body's freedom... and Angèle would step on their corpses, if that's necessary to be free to love. She gets along with some Vanessa's friend, but none of them really comprehends the necessity to change the whole society and the way of seeing the world. She is ready to make any affort to lead them on a good road. Probably she will never have kids, but next generations deserve a better world, even if founded on somoeone's blood.

The two carry on the homosexual and feminist perspective in the Ingranaggi Rossi collective, so she knows Fabrizio Arnaldi  , Luigi Mascheroni  , an old friend of Vanessa, and Cosimo Sandri   — she doesn't like the latter because she's jelous of his ambiguous relationship with Vanessa; and Luigi seems to be really bothered by her homosexuality. She also became friend of Enrichetta Soleri  , an old local feminist. She hates catholics, but fascists above all; once she was menaced by Liliana Canuto  .
